Six of us arrived there at 7 pm on Friday. We were very fortunate that there was a handful of people (though the establishment was full) due to the World Series baseball game playing in LA. We were seated in a timely manner. Four of us wanted to try this seasonal special, Pumpkin Ramen because it was available only for a week. Thick noodles in pumpkin broth was so tasty. Though it is a vegetarian ramen, we were completely satisfied. We also tried gyoza, which was made automatically! I also ordered lemonade, which came in a bottle, with some fizz.. This was absolutely fantastic! Iwould definitely recommend this establishment.
Dined at Tatsunoya on a Thursday evening. Arrived there before 7 pm, and it looked like the first wave of customers just left; hence, no wait for us. We were seated at a booth, which was very comfortable. I ordered their monthly special, “spicy tsukemen” brothless noodle. It was spicy, and I especially liked the texture, cubed purple cabbage, etc. I was also given a tablespoon of vinegar for altering its flavor, which gave mildness to the taste. In the end, I added a small bowl of rice to completely finish the dish. Oh, it was delightful! I look forward to the next...
Read moreIt was through their first anniversary flyer that I learned about this establishment, and I am glad that I decided to try their ramen. Their gyoza blew me away! Though I am not certain if they make it in the kitchen, I can assure you that it was not from a package. There is a lot of meat packed inside, and they make that crisp blanket on top. I enjoyed the Tonkotsu Ramen, but I would like to try other ramen dishes in the future. The spicy tsukemen has been reviewed by other individuals. On the menu, I did not see it, but perhaps I did not look closely enough. It is a fairly spacious restaurant with a large number of booth tables, which is suitable for family dining. After all, I am looking forward to trying other dishes...
Read moreFinally opened in mid to late July 2025. Super long lines out the door the first weekend but i went on the second weekend it was open and was able to walk right in and grab a table. For the ramen purists, my review might not have enough street cred because I ordered the vegan ramen with thin noodles,..but it was delicious. Terrific broth, nice noodle texture, and enjoyable Woods Ear mushrooms. Their hot sauce is also quite good with a real flavor! I wish they offered tofu or chicken as an add-in, but they don’t—oh well. I washed it down with a green iced barley tea. Service was on...
