We went on Christmas night. They were very busy. They seated us quickly for a table for two. Our table didn't have any condiments on it like other tables had.
They offered us green tea or water. We chose tea and got it quickly. I decided that I also wanted water. They said that they were out of water cups but that they would get me water as soon as they could. I watched other people get served water after me. I waited for a bit and then asked for water again. I never got water.
The menu had price changes written on it. You could still see the old prices that they had scribbled out. The handwriting wasn't legible for me to tell what we would actually be paying for the food. They were out of one of the things that we wanted. I ordered ginger mushrooms and tofu. They gave me garlic mushrooms instead. When they put the plate down, I asked where the tofu was. They took it back, took some mushrooms off of my plate, and brought me the plate with some added tofu. When I tried the dish, it wasn't ginger sauce. It was garlic sauce. I was really disappointed because I had ordered the ginger tofu and mushrooms before and really enjoyed that dish. There was a small piece of broccoli in my dish and broccoli isn't part of what I ordered or what they gave me. I also ordered coconut curry eggplant. There was a piece of what looked like zucchini peel in my coconut eggplant curry and that dish doesn't have anything close to zucchini in it (it's just eggplant and curry sauce). I'm worried about contamination of dishes.
My partner never got his food! We said we wanted to pay and leave and just have his food taken off our bill but they suddenly brought us a dish for him after we asked for the bill. It wasn't what he had ordered! There were two very obvious things wrong with his dish! (He had asked for no shrimp and he asked for noodles instead of rice.) We told them that we didn't want the food that they had brought for him because it was really late and not what he had ordered. We asked for it to be taken off our bill. They gave us the bill with his order on it anyway. We asked them again to take it off and they did. We had to ask twice for a to go box for me. We got tired of waiting at our table to pay so we went to the front to pay. It was pretty chaotic up there because a lot of people were waiting a long time for pickup orders. We considered leaving cash instead of using our card.
This restaurant used to have food that I liked. It wasn't healthy but I liked it. I used to come to it a lot when I lived in the area. I'm assuming that the restaurant is under new management? I'm hoping that they figure things out. I'm not very interested in going there any more after our...
Read moreDespite the 4 star reviews, this place is definitely not even worth a star. The food was horrible to say the least. The wonton soup was basically salt water with a single wonton. Chow mein came cold and the orange chicken left a bad aftertaste. The service was also terrible, the server was on the phone yelling the entire time we were eating. She basically threw the menus on the table and then gave us only a few seconds to order. After we ordered the food came almost instantly, which was not a good sign. We were not offered drinks until after our food was out. The service made us feel unwelcome and like we were just a burden on her day. All of the lights in the place were also off and there were many tables with dirty plates sill on them from the time we got there to when we left. It was dark, unclean, and just a very uncomfortable place to be. Even though the food was horrible, we felt bad and didn’t want to cause any trouble so we paid and left. I have never felt the need to write a review before, but the stars on this particular establishment are extremely misleading and I hope that no one else has to endure a horrible and costly experience...
Read moreThis place deserves no stars, but in order to post I have to at least put one star. My family and I ordered won ton soup, combination D; which included orange chicken and broccoli chicken, Kun pao prawns, and coconut curry prawns all with sides of chow mien and some tea. Everything was awful from the start. The lady taking my order was walking around one end from another. The only thing that was okay was my tap water served in dusty wine glasses and that I didn't get food poisoning. The won ton soup had two won tons no green onion it was literally chicken bouillon in water. I've eaten in enough Chinese restaurants I just know this is not how it was supposed to taste, my chow mien stated like cleaning chemicals. EVERYTHING WAS AWFUL!!! Do not eat here. I should have known when I didn't even see one living soul...
