I have attended this particular restaurant for years for breakfast and lunch. I went back again today and just had to share.

Marvins has been a staple in Cotati for a very long time, and most of the time I have been for breakfast, but today I got the Reuben sandwich.

One of the best Rubens I have ever eaten. Very tasteful, corn beef with wonderfully fragrant and homemade sauerkraut, topped off with the perfect cheese and thousand island dressing.

This is one of my top favorite sandwiches, and they did not let me down! First time I’ve had this here, and I highly recommend it! Sandwich came out piping hot, rye bread was toasty and crisp all in all a truly wonderful sandwich experience.

When I arrived, as is per usual, the line was out the door waiting for seating. I walked up and asked if they had room for just one and got sat right down. One of the few perks of eating alone.!

Even though they were stacked to the gills with customers, I had my drink, within five minutes my order taken and I had my sandwich within about 15 minutes, very reasonable, considering the number of people in the restaurant at the time and the quality of the sandwich.

I highly recommend this establishment!!! Clean, well maintained and...

I have rated 5-stars in the past (6-months ago) and my sister and I go to Marvin's at least every other week for either breakfast or lunch.

Today 08/26/2022, at 10:45am, sister and I went to have breakfast ordered bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrown and toast and they were "horrible" (was not alike Marvin's), may be they hired new cook (from Black Bear Diner in Rohnert Park) ??? Bacon were over cooked (burned black like hard beef jerky) and hashbrown were not cooked at all (not crispy on top side) like warmed up in microwave.

Who ever cooked these meals, owner should check/supervises this individual cook or gradually looses customers.

It reminded me it tasted like "Black Bear Diner's" food in Rohnert Park (stopped going there about 2-years ago due to cooks doesn't know how to prepare American style breakfast menus).

Would not recommend for breakfast menus for now (until hire a new cook).

Only thing is owner of Marvin's and majority of people does not read reviews at this eatery because over 80% of customers are...

Great breakfast spot!! I had the chili relleno omelette It was exactly what I thought it would be. Good ! Just the right amount of heat. My wife had the Cotati omelette. She.really enjoyed it. Not a lot of decor that I remember but the tables all had different cool salt and pepper shakers. We had a pair of pumpkins. The table next to us had a 40 Ford with a small trailer for the pepper. Super cute! I went back again. It was great again. This time I had the chilaquiles! Great chips tossed in a great chile sauce. topped with eggs your way , avocado and queso fresco. Really good. I keep thinking of them. I guess I will be going back again soon.9 We went for lunch this time . I had a chili relleno and my wife had a sandwich called the Marina. Both good but could have used a bit more care. My relleno just needed to be hotter. My wife's needed a bit of seasoning zip. Good. I will still go back and try...

We came on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., there was ample of parking at the lot shared with other businesses. No wait to get in or get seated. The place could use an upgrade. Customer service was efficient and friendly. Spanish and English is spoken here. Plenty of options on their menu. We ordered coffee, pork chops and chilaquiles. It took about 10 minutes to get our food. Pork chops were served with choice of eggs and choice of potatoes (hash browns or country potatoes). Pork chops were very juicy and tasty. Chilaquiles were served with carne asada (choice of cooking level), choice of eggs, and a side of tasty spicy salsa. The dish was delicious, but chilaquiles were cold. Then bill was brought, and I had to go pay at the cash register. Would go back.
