2023/12/10 So happy they still have one of my favorites - chicken & waffles with their yummy hot cocoa. Still love it. My hubby's fav is the stuffed peppers. Much needed brunch lunch meal with our loved ones.
changing my pattern & putting current reviews on top. Loved their curry bowl...had fun celebrating a family milestone bday.
02/11/22 had another fun dinner with family... we had potato skins & Sprats rolls for appetizers and mains - yummy curry bowls and bean & rice plate.
11/22/22 Another yummy & fun dinner with my in-laws. We always order the same entrees - Thai Coconut Curry with Tofu and Rice & beans plate - in addition to Fish & Chips. Everything is still Very tasty.
1/26/23 Fun dinner with my in-laws. Wine & beer to start. Stuffed poblanos, beans & rice, fish & chips and tofu sandwich were all so yummy.
23/4/7 our first to have breakfast here. All our food (eggs' benedict, 2-eggs breakfast, loaded hash browns & stuffed poblanos) was great. My first time to try Chicken & waffle (with lemon-basil sauce) was extremely delicious and will order again. Chicken was very crunchy and tasted savory-sweet with the maple syrup from the waffle.
23/5/29 it's Memorial Day!! We came in at almost 11am - very happy that we beat the brunch/lunch crowd. They have a wonderful musician playing great music by the door. 2 plates of chicken and waffles and the guys had breakfast plates with fluffy omelet & loaded hash browns. Had their yummy cocoa too. As always, never disappoint.
23/9/3 They're out of ny favorite breakfast - chicken (sold-out) and waffles. Ordered eggs benedict with potatoes Obrien instead. I liked not loved it as it was too lemony for my taste. Had their yummy covoa again. Live music was great. Will try the stuffed...

Decided to stop into this little place on main Street and was thoroughly blown away. The mozzarella sticks alone are worth coming in for .
Wife and I had a pair of burgers for lunch along with sweet potato fries and onion rings. Nothing was standard, everything was unique, and everything was amazing. It's a comfy location, with DELICIOUS food, and a super friendly staff.
The mozzarella sticks are more like mozzarella logs. A firm, crisp outside filled with perfectly soft and gooey mozzarella cheese. The onion rings appeared to be hand breaded, but rather than just a bunch of flour, was some very well done bread. And then fried to perfection. The sweet potato fries were very similar in that they seemed hand breaded with a delicious outside rather than just some cheap breading. Also fried to perfection.
While they did have your standard burgers they also had some unique burgers, such as my dragon burger. Spicy sauce, jalapenos, bacon, and apple slices. I thought it is going to be a little bit weird but the apple slices actually helped handle the heat of the burger.
Their menu had so many delicious sounding and unique options that we absolutely have to go back to continue working our way through that menu. In addition to their commitment to have a lot of gluten-free dishes, and cook appropriately so that there's no cross-contamination, this is a unique, delicious, and caring location that everybody...
Read moreThe food is good, so I’ll throw in an extra star. I have been a regular customer here throughout the pandemic, using their to-go option probably once a week (and I tip generously btw). I was turned away tonight because they have a full house. I was then transferred to a “manager” who told me that I could go to a different restaurant. So rude. I live in CG and have tried to be supportive of local business through COVID, but I still prefer to order out and avoid the COVID factory of dining in. Jack Sprats obviously doesn’t care about their regulars who have supported them in a very challenging time for restaurants, and they apparently allow their staff to be rude to customers. I’m done.
Update: despite the apologetic response below, I received an email this morning accusing me of being “inappropriate” on the phone with their manager and calling her stupid. I would never call someone names and was perfectly appropriate on the phone. So if you have feedback for Jack Sprats, I guess you can expect them to lie and accuse you of being the problem. I’m actually quite shocked at their leadership’s unprofessional and accusatory response...
