The young man that answered the phone when I called to place my order actually picked up the phone and then began complaining about having to take a call-in order, while the phone was close enough to pick up what he was saying. That should have been my first sign not to order. After arriving just after 8:15 p.m., the staff were complaining out loud about how they were ready to go but had so many orders left; they close at 9 p.m. They even went as far as discouraging other customers from placing orders, over-emphasizing that there would be a 25-plus minute wait every time someone came through the door. It’s one thing to let customers know up front about a wait time, it’s another thing when you are complaining that customers keep coming, out loud, where you can be heard. One of the workers even tried to suggest to a small group of people that had entered after myself, that they try Chic-fil-a instead. The entire time I waited for my order to be completed, the staff sat and complained about customers placing orders, with over half an hour before closing time. Have gone there several times for my self but when I have to order a day in advance for my work it is SUCH a headache and no one is willing to work with me. This last time I called, there was not a manager on sight and the employee had to give them a call to get the okay for the order (Completely understand)..... bad part was is that they did not put me on hold and I could hear the aggravated conversation they were having with the manager. They were not willing to work with my company on a box lunch order and had told me to contact another FireHouse to see if we had a previous order in the system with them. In all fairness I understand that it would be easy to duplicate an order that had already been placed in moths previous, but I have repeatedly tried to place an order with this location because it is MUCH closer to my work and they have NEVER been willing to work with anyone here that has tried to order. Read moreUse to be real good at greeting you by saying welcome to firehouse now that's pretty much non existent. They use to come around ask if everything was good, was their any problems and also come around to pick trash up from table to throw it away before you left and get it out of your way, but that's non existent anymore ! Food still good, and hot but noticed the mac & cheese is real soupy and watered down now. Use to be a place I use to enjoy going to but now seems to but just like all other locations not exceptional. It's got to do with management not keeping with the standards they use to have, and not enforcing them.
