These cookies are so GOOD!!! After meeting the owner of the Crumbl Cookies in Cottonwood Heights while working my shift at Tsunami, I just had to come and try them and see what all they hype was about. I went to the Crumbl Cookies in Cottonwood Heights for my first time tonight and I do have to say I’m very happy with these cookies! Although, my experience with the staff was not as pleasant, and that’s why I must give it a four star. They greeted my mom and I as we walked in and all had smiles, which is what any customer could ask for, but then we went to order and we told the woman at the counter “We’d like three chocolate chip cookies and one snickerdoodle cookie.” She grabbed all the cookies, we paid, and everything seemed great. We got out to the car and I checked the box and I found three chocolate chip cookies and a sugar cookie. No big deal. Mistakes happen. We were still in the parking lot, so I just ran back in and told the staff what happened. They were all so great about it, very apologetic and let me keep the sugar cookie and just gave me the other one for free. So, the woman grabs what I thought was a snickerdoodle and I head out. I get home, open the box, it is a peanut butter cookie. At this point, I’m not sure if she was just having a bad day, was tired, or had no idea what a snickerdoodle cookie looked like.... but I received every cookie that was not a snickerdoodle. It’s honestly not a huge deal, I’m not going to make a big fuss over one cookie, I just want to make sure that the staff is educated on what cookies are being sold and where to locate them in the store. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, the cookies taste amazing, and this small mistake will not stop me from coming back to this business or...
Read moreCrumbl’s Customer Service is Crumbling — Loyal, High-Volume Customer Treated Like a Nuisance I’ve been a loyal Crumbl customer for the last 4-6 months, consistently spending $400 to $600 a month at a single location. That’s not casual cookie-buying — that’s a business relationship. I use these cookies as part of marketing initiatives for local doctor offices, meaning I’m not just a high-volume buyer — I’m also giving Crumbl free exposure and word-of-mouth marketing to dozens of professional practices every week. Despite that, my last two visits were cancelled with no real attempt to fix the issue. This week, I tried placing an order for 10 boxes of 4-pack cookies and was told I needed 24–48 hours notice. Annoying, but fine. Then I was told they could only fulfill 6 boxes — not the additional 4. Really? You’re a cookie company. Bake more cookies. How is that not the most basic expectation of your business model? The alternative I was offered? Call the morning of and hope you have enough. That’s not a solution — it’s an unreliable gamble and a poor way to run a customer-facing business. At this point, it feels like pure laziness and a lack of interest in fulfilling loyal customer needs. Denying consistent business from someone who promotes your brand as part of their own outreach is short-sighted at best and outright disrespectful at worst. And let’s be honest: I’m pretty sure this message won’t even make it to a manager — which says everything about the customer service culture Crumbl seems to have adopted. Do better, or I’ll gladly find a brand that values partnership, reliability, and basic...
Read moreMy weakness is cookies. Crumbl came along a few years back and it became routine for me to go at least once a week and get cookies... after awhile, I got tired of a lot of the repeat flavors, so I scaled back a lot and don’t go nearly as often as I used to (I’m also trying to eat less sugary foods since I need to get back in shape!). Despite being more strict about my diet, I still check Instagram to see what flavors they have each week... unfortunately for my diet, my favorite flavor of theirs was available this week - Confetti. But, I couldn’t just get one since they rarely have that flavor (I’m also not a huge frosting fan, so most of their similar cookies have frosting, but not the confetti cookie), so I got two. I also read the IG comments on the new banana bread cookie, and I can confirm it’s just as delicious as people say. Then, of course, I typically love all things cotton candy flavored, so I also got a fourth cookie, the Cotton Candy cookie. It is a good cookie and does have that cotton candy flavor, but frosting is not entirely my thing, so this one is a little sweeter than I like. Their regular cookies, the sugar cookie and chocolate chip are good occasionally, but I personally really don’t like milk chocolate chips at all, so if I need a chocolate chip cookie fix, I make regular trips to another cookie place near the Fort Union shopping area that has Semi-sweet Thursday.
If I had to pick two cookies from Crumbl, it’d be the Snickerdoodle and the Confetti - both cookies have no frosting and have that crisp exterior and soft, warm interior. Yum! Thanks for contributing to my Covid...
