Update March 31 2025. We’re back. Overnight stay in Cottonwood and it wouldn’t be a complete trip without breakfast at Crema. My wife and I both had the breakfast croissant but I subbed egg whites for whole egg. Delicious. Savory and very large portion. Filling. Still a top stop! New pics attached. Updated Nov 29 2023. Still a solid 5 stars in all categories. We’re back. Our same group of four. I had the “blta” - bacon lettuce tomato and avocado. Delicious and filling. With a side of their signature cheesy hash brown potato casserole. Seated immediately. Great service. Good value. Our small group had a mid-morning breakfast-brunch at Crema. Crema hides a surprise - it's LARGE but hidden extended seating patio. You walk in the front door into a small cramped area and wonder where you're gonna sit. Then comes the surprise. They escort you through a door into the covered outside eating patio chock full of tables, colorful umbrellas and lots of AZ sunlight. Never saw that coming! Very cool, actually. Service was top notch. Prices were great. Food was OUTSTANDING! My wife had a burrito and I had their "BLTA" sammy - bacon, lettuce, tomato & avocado served with a side of "Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole". Good food, fun atmosphere, clean, open, satisfying. Gotta go.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Food = Excellent Service = Excellent Cleanliness = Excellent Atmosphere = Excellent I ordered the farmer's salad and the crepe for dessert. All ingredients not only complimentary starting from the arugula, corn, beans and delicious dressing made for an exquisite bite. The crepe was decadent and truly satisfying. Again all ingredients freshly prepared. I was definitely impressed in this town. The crepe is a berries crepe (strawberry + blueberries + blackberries) with a mascapone drizzle) No too sweet not too bland just right !!! Eva was very quick to pay attention to detail and works well under pressured. For sure a layed back personality yet sharp. She was so welcoming as I walked in and didnt wait to be asked about simple things like refills, silverware, etc. She was such a pleasure and represents this place with excellence. The owners are lucky to have her. Lastly, I used their restrooms and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and chic the bathroom were. The bathroom is catered to families for sure with a baby changing station. (Not many places do this and I can appreciate).. clean clean clean ... 100% will be back when I visit AZ again. Thanks again CREMA !!! 🤍🤍

I really wanted to like this place. It had such potential and the reviews made it seems like a sure thing.. but this place was far from it. To be fair, we did attend this restaurant on the heels of a biker rally, perhaps the staff was overwhelmed with the amount of patrons but it really didn't feel crowded. I don't have anything good to say about the food. I was with a group of 7 people and none of us finished our meals and nobody raved about theirs. I ordered the red velvet chicken and waffles. I know, my fault for being adventurous but I had high hopes.. I think they over cooked the chicken by about 30 minutes, that would explain why the food took so long. Thankfully they brought syrup with my meal otherwise the chicken wouldn't have been edible, I had to drench the chicken in the syrup to eat it. The red velvet waffle in theory sounded good but it wasn't. It didn't taste like red velvet or a waffle. It probably should be removed from the menu especially at $14+. I should have sent the meal back immediately but I didn't want to be the only one not eating so I suffered through a few bites of each. The waitress asked if I wanted a Togo box and I believe my response was " god no"! Lol.. my girlfriend didn't fair any better. She ordered the eggs Benedict, I don't know if the kitchen staff had ever heard of eggs Benedict before cause what they brought her was far from it.. the eggs on top are supposed to have runny yolk... Hers didn't. They were hard boiled.. it's also supposed to be accompanied by hollandaise sauce which it wasn't. She did complain to the waitress about the overcooked eggs but the waitress informed her that usually the cooks under cook the eggs, like that was some sort of attempt to comfort her.. she didn't offer to have it remade or remove it from our bill. I don't think we'll be back again.

I brought my wife here for her birthday brunch. It was absolutely the best choice! The restaurant is in the middle of downtown Main Street, with nice scenery any way you look at it. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to suit your wants. The service was very friendly and personable. I had the Eggs Benedict with Lobster and Asparagus, and a Bloody Mary. For the price, I expected to either get a very small sliver of lobster, or some sort of lobster flavoring. However, this meal came with approximately 6 or 7 larger-than-bite-size pieces of lobster; very generous of a portion. The flavors blended very well together, making this a very memorable meal! The Bloody Mary was spicy, but not too spicy. There was a whole hard-boiled egg, sweet chili piece of bacon, celery stick, green olive, and lime included. It's a little pricey, but very well worth it. My wife had their breakfast burrito. I did not try it, but she raved about how good it was, and filled her for the rest of the day! She got a dark-stout beer to go along with her meal, and she enjoyed it to the last. I cannot recommend this place any higher. We can't wait to return there sometime soon!

I am a native Arizonan who makes the drive up to Sedona at least once a year. I use to love to stop by and eat brunch here. This time is was awful. I called ahead to make sure it was OK to bring my 10lb shih tzu and we were told yes, we could push 2 tables together on the patio. When we arrived, the hostess had no idea who we spoke to and was rude and told us no. Then the manager said yes, and they did push 2 tables together on the patio. We felt our server was impatient and the food presentation was not the normal Crema experience I had in the past. The eggs Benedict were more like hard boiled eggs on top of two chorizo patties. I got a table spoon of hashbrowns. Not only was I disappointed with the whole experience, I was embarrassed to invite my future in-laws. My 17 year old daughter was speechless since she has been there too. My boyfriend and his parents about lost their mind when they saw a dog come out of the main dining area patio with a younger couple and two toddlers. Take yourself to the Red Rooster Cafe down a few doors. This is not the service you should expect from a $100 ticket.
