Glory Days Sports Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

First off the food was decent. It's other aspects that weren't so great. We went here on a Sunday night. We saw the place down the way was packed but this one was pretty quiet. So we went in and got drinks and decided to eat outside. There was one other group out there when we sat down. The waitress/bartender came out, took out order and later brought out the food. The other group had left and we were the only ones out there. We were almost done eating and I was waiting on a refill but we hadn't seen the waitress but finally near the end she came out and said sorry she forgot people were out here. Not a big deal but as dead as the place was you'd think she'd have been more attentive. Then the bill. Sweet potato fries, $1.50 extra, no problem. Side of ranch for those fries. $.50, no problem. Side salad instead of fries $1.50, no issues. $.50 for dressing for the salad? Not extra dressing, just dressing. It's not the money, it's the principle. Who in the world charges for the salad and the dressing? Good thing I didn't want croutons. If you would have charged me $2.00 for the salad I wouldn't even have worried about it but that's not the case. I even said something to the bartender and all I got was yeah that crazy, I just push a button and that's what comes up, were pretty expensive. Went there for my friends 21st birthday and us all being 21 expected no issues! WRONG their ID scanning app (mind you anyone can download this from the AppStore on their phone) denied the real ID that was issued from a DMV in Maryville,MO. Obviously the app has nothing to do with law enforcement and is not reliable. So then they proceeded to ask us to leave which we did. After that we stood outside the front doors on the public sidewalk and waited for the rest of the group to finish their drink. After chatting with some people on the patio we saw the same (I'm assuming) bar manager come back out. Throughout this whole thing my friend who was denied realized she has her passport with her. His initial tone was very rude and not professional what so ever. So he asks us to get off their "property" and we responded by asking if they accept passports his response was NO, which does not make any sense considering it is a government issued form of identification. Do not recommend at all staff is very disrespectful and have heard many other similar stories. Hope there is reconstruction of the business or else I don't see it being around...

My husband and I went to here because it was on my PinPoint app and had a buy one get one free meal offer. I could tell it was more of a dive bar than a restaurant as soon as we walked in....which was fine I was willing to give it a chance. I'm pregnant, so I ordered a root beer. The waitress brought me a HARD root beer which I took one drink of without looking and had to spit it back in once I tasted the alcohol. We didn't get reimbursed for it because they didn't have root beer on the menu (which is stupid). We decided to start with an appetizer and ordered the nachos. They came with non-melted cold shredded cheese on top and canned queso underneath the meat that tasted like metal. I didn't know nachos could taste bad but these were horrible. We took a few bites each, knew it wasn't a place to eat at, got our bill and left. Will not...
