Pizza Counter — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

Stopped in for lunch around 2:00pm on June 20, 2013 with my wife.

Ordered a medium pizza and a couple sodas. The pizza was excellent and tasted great!! The crust was crispy like I prefer. Toppings and sauce were very flavorful.

A staff member, Johnathon(sp?) was cleaning a few tables and asked how the food was.We told him it was super. I asked if their place was a one of a kind or a chain type. He told me about one other location under the same name.

We prefer to do business with small "Mom & Pop" businesses rather than major chain styles.

Also struck up a convo about music and events we shared a common interest in. Since they were moderately slow after the normal noon lunch hour, he took time to visit before returning to cleaning duties.

Over all, a super great experience. We live in NW Iowa and were in town for an appointment and decided to check this venue out. Places like this deserve a pat on the back. We're glad we stopped in!!

Servers are friendly for the most part but does have a few who are rude unprofessional and inpatient with their clients i had ordered delivery once it happened that I paid with a check and there was an issue with the check so one of the staff had called me. I missed the call and the staff left a very rude, unprofessional and threatening voicemail. I did call them back as soon as I had gotten done in the other room. I told the lady that I had to go to class later that evening and I would stop in and correct the issue with the check on my way to class. I then proceeded to tell her that I was not ignoring the phone call I had actually was unable to answer the phone at the very moment that she had called and that it was not necessary to threaten and be unprofessional just because I didn't...

I order pizza from here all the time! And at their location on veterans hwy.. my work does too. Everyone I've introduced to this place has loved it! My favorite is the veggie pizza, but I have also tried their meat trio, cheese, bbq chicken, and taco.. all were great! Also like their chef salad, mainly because of their ranch dressing! Pretty sure it's homemade and it's just fantastic! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! You will not be disappointed. Very inexpensive. Everyone I've encountered working there was always friendly. My ONLY complaint is that they're closed on Sundays and Mondays, and of course those are usually the days I'm craving...
