I came to this bar for the first time with friends one Friday night in March. The men's bathroom needs something other than just a swinging door and there needs to be a stall around their toilet. Read moreIf I could give Henry at Blk Squirrel 100 stars, I would. Hands down, he is the reason this bar feels like home every time I walk in. From the moment I sit down, he has a fresh drink waiting like he read my mind. The man is magic. Not only is his bartending top-tier, but he goes above and beyond to make sure I feel safe and comfortable. Any unwanted attention? Henry is already on it before I even have to say a word.
He’s fabulous, funny, fast, and always makes the vibe feel just right. Blk Squirrel is my favorite spot on the 100 block, and honestly, it wouldn’t be the same without him. Cheers to Henry — the real MVP...
