Wenday's Bakery & Food Boutique (by Appt ) — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

This is a magical gem of a business!!! A coworker took me here and I am sooo glad she did! Upon arriving and walking up to the home, the energy/feeling I sensed was welcoming & kind. Inside, meeting Wenday & her employee (I'm so sorry I forgot her name!) Was extremely pleasant with good conversation & I truly felt like this was such a special place. I bought several goodies - lavender blueberry scones, a German chocolate cupcake, and a carrot cake. I should've bought more....the presentation of these items is just gorgeous & evident that so much love is put into everything. When you take a bite...HEAVENLY! Oh my goodness...the best! The scone was perfection, the flavors the burst through as you chew each bite are a wonderful adventure. The cupcake I bought for my husband but he let me take a bite ;) and wow! So moist & tasted like the best German chocolate treat I've had. The carrot cake was for a coworker, so I did not get to try it - but I have no doubt she enjoyed every bite! :) The little boutique area has lots of unique and beautiful items to choose from, including local & handmade earrings. So many things to look at! I am overjoyed that I was able to break away from work to come experience this place & cannot wait...

Stopped in for my first time ever today! I was greeted right away with a warm smile which is great. I stopped in to get some delicious treats for three of my providers since its National Doctors Day. To say I was blown away is an understatement. The bakery was absolutely adorable and the boutique was fantastic. The ladies were absolutely amazing and helped me out with all the best treats they have to offer. My providers loved all of them! I will definitely be returning to shop and try their coffee breakfast and...

Excellent and beautifully prepared food. The Mother’s Day brunch To You (pick up) was perfect. I ordered the bacon and spinach quiche, strawberry cheesecake muffins, and baked brie. The meal also came with a plate of fresh fruit and homemade jam. Everything was amazing and plated beautifully! The attention to detail and quality of food is not something you get anywhere.
