Basement at the Lakes — Restaurant in Coventry Township

We have been here before with our 4 yr old granddaughter and sat in the booths away from the Bar. Last night (Mar 8-2017) we decided to go and have a late dinner as we had been working all day.. Their were 5 adults and my granddaughter also my god son. The waitress brought our drinks and took our order, not at one time did she tell us we could not be there with the children after 9 pm. I know that if you are under 21 you are not allowed to sit at the Bar, but we were far from the bar. The waitress came over to tell us we couldn't be there after 9pm with the children at the bar, but proceeded to tell us it was ok. I looked at my husband and said were not at the bar. Then she came over again to say the kids are not allowed to be there at the bar after 9 pm, and some of the customers were complaining because our 10 month old god son was being too loud. Ok I get it he a baby and babies can be loud! Anyways she still continued to tell us it was ok, just try and keep him quiet. Mind you we were not that close to the bar we were over in the booths close to the games.. Well I said F*^K this lets go! So we left. We will not be back to your location again. Me and a large group of friends went to the basement on Manchester rd on 11/11/2017 for some drinks. My girlfriend and one of my friends went to the bar and ordered drinks for one another and themselves. At the end of the night my girlfriend went to pay her tab and discovered all of the drinks had been put on her tab. She asked the bartender to please correct the mistake. She said that since my friend that had ordered the drinks had already left, there was nothing she could do, my girlfriend had to pay for them, or my friend had to come back and pay for them. My girlfriend had no problem paying the 10 dollars rather than make her friend drive all the way back but didn’t think she should be held responsible for the bartenders mistake. The bartender who made the mistake came over (tall guy with beard) and began to yell at my girlfriend for accusing him of making a mistake without giving her a chance to discuss the situation. He basically called her an idiot and denied that he could have made the mistake. She left in tears. Lost 10 customers for life over 10 dollars and refusing to own up to their mistake. Terrible customer service. Terrible business model. A manager simply taking two drinks off the bill and apologizing for the mistake could have fixed the...

Food is Fantastic, but the Service is absolutely Terrible. I eat here once a week, because the food is great, and it is the only decent food in this area. Although It seems as if every time I come the service gets worse and worse. It takes 15 mins for someone to acknowledge you walked in the door and offer you a drink or menu. Forget about ordering because that'll take another 30 mins for someone to come back and ask if your ready. The staff seem to hate their jobs. I see them on their phones more than I see them engaging with the customers. Once ordered food with a few friends, my dish was cold, the other they forgot his kaluger sauce on his kaluger burger, tried to find a waitress to tell but she never came back, the other they never brought his salad but then said sorry they are still making your salad instead of saying we just forgot it. Once I waited for burgers, 45mins, waitress walked past us 3 times and we are wondering where our food is, finally I walked up to the bar to ask if it was almost done and she told me they forgot to put in our order. So I waited an hour and 15 mins for burgers not including the 30 mins it took to take out order. In other words if the food wasn't so good I wouldn't be returning.
