I called ahead to make a take out order of Birria Fries to try for the first time, I’m also a newer customer having only been here 3 times before. When I called for my order I asked for the price with taxes on the phone. I also said out the door. I was told 14.99 by this young girl on the phone who answered. I get to the establishment and I am told the price is actually almost $17 dollars. I am only carrying the exact cash after walking out of smart and final. The girl acknowledges her mistake but refuses to honor the price she told me, I ask to speak to her manager or anyone in charge but she refuses to call anyone. I ask her to make a call and refuses that as well. The whole place is empty and there’s no one dining in or calling still she refuses to check with anyone or do anything. I am never returning to this place again, not even for a discounted item. I walked out but immediately walked back in to ask again to check since the food has been made already, she then tells me she was going to call her manager to see if she could do that after I had walked out for the first time. I called her out on why she didn’t do that when I was asking the first time and I received the most senseless and immature answer ever. She responded, “Well I wasn’t going to run after you..” How does that make sense? Please hire or place someone else at the front because this employee doesn’t know how to talk to people or what they’re saying. I was recommending this place to people but after this I will take it back and let them know what kind of horrible service they have upfront. This happened on a Sunday around 6PM,...

My friend and I were starving, so we happened to stop by Fuego Cravings while we were in Covina. We were so hungry, we literally ordered with our eyes. The birria pizza sounded great. I also was craving a surf n' turf burrito. Oh, and of course, we couldn't forget about the hot cheeto fries. Man oh man, that birria pizza is huge! And no, it's an actually pizza. Think of a huge quesadilla cut into pizza slices. The green and red salsas though, so good! Got that good spice! Especially the red one. The burrito was so stuffed and overloaded, we both couldn't finish one side. I ended up taking the other half back home to my husband. Of course, I had to snack on the fries. There were so many toppings! Loved that it was curly fries, which is different. I watered down my meal with some refreshing pineapple agua fresca, while my friend drank a horchata. We ended our meal with some churros topped with a mango sorbet. So good! Our service was nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Francisco! There's a good amount of seating inside - good for parties of 2-4....

Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, clean...nobody was there, except a child and the girl at the counter, who spoke not 1 word of English! When asking for items , I did not get what I needed at all because she can't understand. She answered in Spanish but communicating was terrible. The kiosk just feels rude when someone is working the counter. It eliminates interactions with customers. I'm a Yelper and Google review person. I was excited to try and severely disappointed 😞 and wished I had chosen a different option. I love Birria. This was tender, but had no flavors and needed salt/seasonings. I got the Ramen. I also paid @7$ for a surf and turf taco which was big but not flavorful at all, the carne tasted old and rubbery the shrimp were ok but it was a bad choice and fell apart fast. My daughter had a birria taco said it was good but it was all expensive. We got two drinks and spent over $50. The drinks were good 👍 but not sure if I...

The Citrus neighborhood is interesting because it has a high Latino population and no good Mexican take out. Even the night stands in this area are pretty trash and frankly their hours suck. So, thank god Fuego opened. I was watching the construction for the last couple months and waiting for it to open, hoping that it would fill my need for our neighborhood and it did. Portions and meats are all great so far and I’ve been twice, having birria and asada. Quesabirrias aren’t small like in many other places. Tortillas are great and we love the jugos. Definitely the best in the neighborhood.
