I was warned about ordering a meal in a place known for being a pizza joint. I ordered the Mediterranean Seafood over linguine. Which I was totally not happy with. I do love Capers and sun-dried tomatoes, but, the amount of green and black olives was overwhelming. And I'm sure it was the green olives that contributed to the unbearable saltiness of the dish. The shrimp were okay but the overall flavor was not to my liking at all. I usually like white wine and butter sauce. Maybe there's someone out there that likes this dish but, I would have suggested removing it from the menu entirely. My other half ordered fish and chips and we might be spoiled because of" the whip" down around Kennett Square and the Irish Pub up in Jim Thorpe.... but these were some of the worst fish and chips we ever had. The fish pieces definitely look like they were bought from Price Right in a bag and just thrown on a plate and now it became a meal for the restaurant. The fries are definitely the Frozen bag kind that they stock supply to restaurants.Ok but nothing to write home about. The salads were okay also nothing fabulous, and the wings were average wings, bone in type. Also be aware that when they ask you about sauces they are charging you for them. Like do you want red sauce or tartar sauce. They will show up on your bill. They get points for the wine and beer fill. The beer was properly chilled and my Cabernet actually wasn't bad at all they had a mid-range brand. In the picture there's a little less beer in the glass. He couldn't wait. P.S. bathrooms were clean and spacious, picture included. We were back in the lounge area and our waitress was over the top.10 out of 10 for accuracy, promptness ...

I am very impressed with the staff and overall experiences with Mendicino’s. I started going to this restaurant as a default when I first moved to North Pocono area, because I was just learning the area. I really enjoyed the pizza, hot wings, and lemon drop martinis. As I continued to visit the restaurant, I learned that they make many of their own items in house to include the fresh squeezed sour mix for drinks. Then the unexpected happened, I learned that I was gluten intolerant. The day after my diagnosis, I had a lunch meeting at Mendicino’s. The waitress could tell that I was unsure and beside myself as I looked through the menu. When I told her about my gluten intolerance and that I was still learning, she told me not to worry. She spent the next few minutes reviewing the menu with me and telling me how they can cook the dishes to be gluten free. She also spent many minutes instructing me on things to ask or look for when I go out to restaurants. I am very grateful and impressed that they went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable as a dinner guest. There food is always made fresh and delicious. If you are in the North Pocono Area for vacation, this...

I was born and raised in NY my whole life until a few years ago and I gotta say growing up in NY, eating the pizza there my whole life, I didn't realize how lucky I was until I moved. It was than when I realized that I couldn't find any pizza that could even compare a little bit in taste with what I was used to getting. Needless to say every single place I tried I was not happy at all with the pizza. Finally I found and decided to give Mendicino's a try and I am going to be absolutely 100% honest and say without a doubt the best place to eat if your looking for the best pizza in the surrounding areas. If your looking for any other delicious Italian meals I would highly recommend checking out there large selection of many other dishes that they offer on there menu.... I personally, have made it a point to to return many different times now and have had the opportunity of trying many many different dishes they offer and I have enjoyed every single item and meal...

Great place for gluten free food options-pizza and pasta! Most of the menu here can be made gluten free. They can substitute gf pasta with any pasta dish and have lots of gf pizza options. The food was delicious and it was so nice to get safe gf food! We ordered the gf house special pizza and the hot wing pizza. I also got a side salad with Greek dressing. My son did like the pizza but does prefer a thicker crust. The crust is on the thinner side which I do not mind. Overall the service and food were great. Will definitely be back when visiting the Poconos again.

The restaurant itself isn’t bad. I enjoyed the service; my drink wasn’t empty for long and we didn’t wait long for food. However, the food we did receive was underwhelming. Maybe I shouldn’t expect much from a restaurant in the mountains but it was none the less boring to say the least. I got the hot wing stromboli and I included a photo with how much hot sauce they put into it. It ended up soggy and overwhelmingly tasting like franks red hot. I took over half of it home because it was just too much bread and cheese. Won’t be excited to go back here again.
