Firstly the food was VERY yummy, the store is also very professional and friendly. Unfortunately me and half my family (3 other people...update -- 4 ) got sick from the food here...Me personally I have been vomiting and having issues with my stomach for most of all this day, its so bad I had to cancel an appointment I had made a month in advance that was today...incredibly unfortunate timing! :(. The rest of my family members were having diarrhea and upset stomachs. We are very sanitary people and we wash our hands before eating and have a sanitary area to eat at. I am almost 100% confidant that maybe some ingredient in the food we had was expired or something? Everything that I threw up earlier was everything that I had in that burrito and I was so busy yesterday that I only had a small pocket of time for one meal and it was that burrirto. Im still feeling nauseous. I am not your typical person/customer, I am understanding that things like this are bound to happen at some point in the food industry and its not that big of a deal for me...its whatever, life goes on. This is just a reminder to check your products for expired dates and check your cleaning habits at the store make sure your not cross contaminating and whatnot. obviously I cant leave a 5 star review for this but ill give a 3 because I am understanding and forgiving. Keep being awesome. Keep making good food. Check...
Read moreI waited. I tried to give the owner the chance to call me back and explain why everything was so poor in quality and experience but I guess he was too busy so here we go. The Queso costs $3.49 and is 2 ounces of semi melted un flavored cheese water and a unequally portioned match of chips in a plastic baggy. Way over priced, even if the cheesey water tasted like cheese. The steak quesadillas at $11. WOW!!!!! That's restaurant priced for a sub par Taco Bell quality Quesadilla, I promise, I'm being serious. Then the tacos, reasonably priced but God Aweful. Requested corn tortillas and they didnt heat them up, they didnt flash the torts in hot oil for 10 seconds, they just put the ingredients in a raw room temp flour tort. As for the ingredients, steak, it was room temp, dont really care about that but when its inside a raw corn tort, THAT's terrible....Finally, the majority of seats in the dining room are torn away, no focus on upkeep at all. And this last part is just par for the course, only trash can in dining room was over flowed so your only choice is to pile higher and watch it all come.tumbling down. They still had 1 hour before closing time so hey, it is what it is. Sorry for the harsh review but this place and this owner has given up, judging by the r&m issues, gave up a...
Read moreUsually, this place is good. The staff working today broke a lot of health code and servsafe regulations. I manage 4 different restaurant locations, so I'm always looking at this. Two of the employees were wearing jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, etc. One had fake nails and no hair restraint. They both had wireless earbuds in, which is also a no no. There were no safety protocols in place required for food service establishments by the Governor's Executive Order: they had no face coverings, no socially distanced tables, and the utensils were unwrapped and open for customers to just grab. All of these would get them a poor health score if the health inspector came. It implies one of 3 things: the employees don't care about safe food handling, the management/owner doesn't care if they follow the regulations, or they haven't been informed of the regulations. None of these things is a good scenario. I don't recommend eating here until these things...
