UPDATE: I am updating my review to 5 stars. I appreciate the fact that someone from the company replied to my previous review and to my email when I sent them an email. I appreciate that I was apologized to by the manager and the one staff member that was there that day for what happened.
I did go back and it was a much better experience. It could have been an off day that way and my frustration got the better of me. Today proved that there are still places out there that know what customer service should be (compared to many places no a days where customer service appears to be out the window).
Although I'm limited to what I can eat there, I still enjoy their food, as does my daughter. As this location is close to where I live, I do plan on going back.
I love Jersey Mike's. I haven't been in awhile but decided to go today. This was the first time that I have been to this store and it was the worst experience I've had at any Jersey Mike's restaurants. When I first walked in, there was no one at the counter. You could hear the in the back but it took about 5 minutes for them to come up front.
I placed my order of cheesesteak subs and preceded to wait. I usually expect to wait around 10-15 minutes for my orders. This was a semi larger order than normal so that would be expected. However, I waited 30 minutes for my order. I believe that they started mobile orders that they received after my order was already placed. Not to mention that I had at least 2-3 people who came in after me leave before me. I get that they had mobile orders and I also understand that there some take priorities, but if a person is standing there waiting, it certainly shouldn't have take n 30 minutes and I certainly shouldn't have had that many people leave before me who came in long after I did.
What upset me the most was that I received no apology for it taking as long as it did. The food was good but the 2 stars is because the service was absolutely horrible. I don't know if I'll go back to this location or not, but at the moment, I certainly have no desire to go back to this one and would travel farther to go to a different one.
If I should go back, it won't be anytime soon and I do hope to have a better experience than I did today. Their employees definitely need lessons on...

But this Person that was let go as a Manager at this location I can't understand a person that has traveled from State to State for this Company training other staff the Jersey Mike's Way and was Very Good At What He Did .for your Company not just that he has also traveled to other places as well here in Georgia.He Was. a Excellent Manager he would Greet Customers Coming in the store. Always had a Smile on his face never heard negative words come from him working in the store he was short staffed at the store sometimes but he worked his Blank off Moving the Customers in Line.I never l seen this Manager not working I really looked forward to coming to the store and see a Smile from the Manager and made Sure. that the staff was completely on board as well .he also hired and let people go if he trained the employees and for reasons not working out. He was let go I understand that the health inspector showed up at the staff this location in Covington Georgia and they received a F and help me understand the manager was not on duty it was another person on duty but the other person that was on duty is still working seen like he or she that was in charged on duty.. Actions should have been taken on who was in charged that day and actions should have been taken as well against the staff.help me understand but they had so many days to be compliance with everything when the heath inspection. Return and I see it may have not been A this time But He got the corrections did and it was B compared to a F when someone else was on duty that day the health inspector showed up..But thought it All.I Feel like Jersey Mike's you let an Excellent Person Go you could have spoken to him and put him in another area help me understand but I say this .How many chances has GOD Given Us Time after Time. Read moreI have been in the store several occasions ordering to go, l Must say the management team, it's not a good fit to called managers for a corporation like this. I say that because there times I have been in the store waiting for my door dash my orders, have smell a distinguished smell like marijuana, but I only saw smoke, he be on his cell phone and I'm talking about the night manage Antonio black young man, he is very rude & disrespectful 😒 he has A Very nasty attitude, he treat his team with less than respect, l don't understand why Jersey Mike has someone representing them in this type of way, There has been a couple times I was in the parking lot waiting for my son to come out of the gamestop next door and I would see him just sitting in his white suv doing nothing, but that same smell that I would smell in the store.
