What is with McDonalds and putting untrained employees on the front register? Do none of them ever go through training before their first day? It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to order one thing. This is with nearly every single McDonald’s I have been to. No matter what city, state, country, world, it’s the same. It’s lunch rush.
Why just two registers? Why just one cashier? Where is the cashier? Why is the cashier walking food out to cars? Why is the manager bagging only drive thru orders and not paying any mind to the FOH? Why are there 4+ employees in drive thru and only 1 FOH? Why is the speed of work in this establishment to go as slowly, inadequately, as possible?
Why are the employees not fulfilling their duties? After I order my food, you repeat it back to me, entirely, articulately. After I pay for my meal, hand me my receipt. After I have my receipt, hand me my cup so I can get my drink while I wait.
If I am at the counter, why is literally no one acknowledging me that I am there? We make eye contact, and before I have a chance to make a move or say a word that I may need something brought to your attention, everyone turns their backs, considering I shouldn’t have to ask in the first place.
When I receive my food, do not walk away from me until I am satisfied that I have everything that I need. McDonalds has trained their employees to throw their food at the customer after YELLING the customers number 100x in a row regardless if the customer says they’re getting their drink and will be right there. If you don’t come get your food immediately, it’s left on the counter and the employees disappear. Offer to me if I need anything more such as ketchup (because for some reason McDonald’s holds onto it like gold), napkins because there’s no one cleaning and stocking the drink station, salt, pepper, if any sauces are missing, or anything else is missing.
Why are they being trained to squeeze the fry box when they fill it with fries? I pay for a certain size, my child’s size fry should not equal to anything larger that I get.
Why are the employees THROWING the food into their packaging and onto the trays and in the bags and in the happy meals? When I go to open my food to inspect it, I don’t want to see half of my cheeseburger hanging outside the box, top bun halfway on, and the meat in such a slant that the Tower of Pisa stands straight compared to. I like to pick my fries up out of my bag with ALL of the fries inside the box they come in, versus having to pour them out of my bag. Why bother even have the fry box if that’s how you’re going to bag my food?
Why is McDonald’s ok with having UNSAFE conditions for babies? Straps broken and missing in the high chairs. Why are they not being thoroughly cleaned or sanitizing wipes made available every single second of the day?
The bathroom door slammed shut so loudly and with incredible force, I’m surprised it hasn’t fallen off it’s hinges, or cut a small child’s finger off. I’m not kidding with this.
Who approved of all of these problems? Who approved that this is all ok and to be expected? If you want to know how nearly all McDonald’s work - go here and see their shining example.
I’m all for better wages for everyone down to the position that requires the least amount of effort because everyone has a job to do to make it work, but when you show me this level of competency, work ethic, drive, you don’t deserve a job at all, much less the pay you think you should get. Shame on McDonald’s for being so careless with who they hire to represent...
Read moreAlways great, fast and friendly service.. That was my review 5 months ago.. I had no complaints at all.. Today February 7th 2023 is a totally different opinion.. I am not a Karen or P.C. about this review. So McDonald's treats there inside customers like Walmart does..I do have a complacent temperament at times, but today was whole different atmosphere all together..Look I don't get a paycheck from Walmart or McDonald's. I do believe I am the customer here, so I thought.. I guess I was wrong to think that this morning.I was at McDonald's around 6:30 maybe 6:45 I wanted to get a ice Carmel coffee plus a oatmeal breakfast that cost about 5 or 6 dollars.. I do believe that does contribute to the salaries and etc. for the McDonald's corp. Not a lot but you want my money to help pay correct? I was directed to use the kiosk to place my order it wouldn't accept my bank card, so the machine directed me to the counter to place my order. There where a few people waiting for their orders.. So I used the facilities and came back to counter, where I played the same game again, card wouldn't work.. So I waited for approx. 10 to 15 minutes while they services only the drive through customers. A young polite gentleman approached and ask could he help me. I gave my order, but the registers where not open for him to place my order. He tried to get help from a not so nice gentleman who proceeded to tell him tell her to use the kiosk to place my order.. remember my card won't work.. The young man looked confused and apologize to me.. Here we go ..The older gentleman started Fk that B*h we getting slammed by the...
Read moreI've never had a better experience at McDonald's. I was expecting a normal experience, you know, cold fries but I'm too tired to care, but no. Oh that certainly wasn't the case. Everything was fresh and I've never had better fries. My milkshake was actually properly mixed. EVERYTHING was right. I was worrying the whole trip to the car. "What if they forgot the cookie? What if they missed a nugget?? What if they messed up what sauce I wanted and they gave me honey mustard and it turns out I'm allergic to it and I explode???" But my fear subsided as I glanced into the bag and noticed everything was perfect. All 20 delicious, heavenly nuggets were there, all wrapped up in there cardboard box beds ready to go to sleep. And to top it off, the service was great. It was quick but nothing was cold or had been sitting for a long time. The workers were nice and no one even as much as looked down at my horrendous outfit. I cannot explain how sad it makes me that I live far from this McDonald's. I would highly recommend trying this place and I can only hope the workers that served me and cooked for me today do not quit or get fired. I have never had a better...
