My fiance and I stopped by for the first time before heading to a doctors appointment. I'm recovering from a hysterectomy, so it was very disappointing that on the rare occasion I can go out to eat over the last few weeks we have such a poor experience. Our waitress did not tell us drinks were self serve. We waited a few minutes and asked to order them and was told to help ourselves. We ordered an appetizer and each a pizza. Both pizzas were either made wrong or burnt and had to be remade. So as we waited, we asked to get them to go so I wouldn't be late for my appointment. The owner apologized, but we paid full price for meal. I was surprised with the mistakes made with most of our meal that no compensation or discount was offered. Apparently I'd forgotten what good pizza is, because these pies are sheer heaven. I've ordered takeout twice recently. I opened the first box and that fresh, handmade pizza smell hit me--until that moment, I'd forgotten that was even a thing! I order pepperoni, with sausage on 1/2 and pineapple on the other 1/2, and there was no shortage of toppings. There were even herbs on that baby--HERBS! I grew up 20 minutes outside of NYC, and although this pizza wasn't spot on for NY pizza, it was the closest I've had in a while. Staff are friendly and efficient. Everything I was looking for in a local owned pizza restaurant. Treat yourself, family and friends to the best local pizza. The pizza, environment and staff are exceptional. This is not instant pizza, but crafted deliciousness. There is even a small arcade to bring back that unrushed local pizza place feel.

My family and I were greeted, provided menus and told to make ourselves at home. The garlic knots with butter and garlic were hits both with the adults and kids. The pizza was perfect. Crusty crust, slightly chewy, sauce was low acidic and mildly sweet, the cheese was very tasty and the pepperoni was great. Our family will definitely be coming back.
