Ok I feel like this may come off a little too much & possibly sounding over-the-top but I just have to tell yall that Brandi is absolutely AMAZING! And I’m genX so I’m not using that word all the time but it’s appropriate to describe Brandi & her dedication to really listening to her clients and really digging deep to understand how to help them through hair. See? I knew it would sound weirdish. I’m sincerely appreciative though!! Thank you, also, for just the all around great experience and vibe you give throughout your salon. Maria is just the kindest and most professional and easygoingest person ever! I’m happy to continue to be a repeat client & I recommend yall to everyone who tells me how great my hair looks!! They’re right. It does look great! lol

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how I felt about the haircut and whether I could continue to make my style look great like Brandi did when she did my cut and style. So let me just say I loved it the day she did it and I absolutely still love it now - six weeks later. Brandi listened to me when I told her how little I do with my hair and what I was looking for in a cut. She took what I said and gave my hair a beautiful shape and body and she told me how to do a minimal amount of styling and upkeep and it’s super easy to get a really pretty look every day! Eva and Katie did our makeup for my wedding, and they were amazing! At my makeup trial, Eva took the time to get to know me & understand the look I was going for, and she got it spot on. And it stayed on perfectly all day! I had trouble finding an artist who could do both light & dark skin makeup, and Eva killed it. Katie did half of the bridal party and they looked incredible and were so happy with their look. On your wedding day, everybody in the room counts, and they were both so much fun to be around.

As a plus, the coordinator Kailyn was so easy to work with, and their prices were very reasonable.

BEWARE OF CARRIE in Mandeville. My son went in for a hair cut because our usual stylist at the Covington location was on maternity leave. Carrie is a "LEVEL 4" stylist on the Air Salon app so I thought she would be capable of cutting my teenage son's hair. He told her to use #2 clippers on the sides and cut the top with scissors and thin it. SHE BUZZED HIS WHOLE HEAD with the clippers and then was charged $35 for a buzz cut. The local barber shop would have been a much better choice if we wanted a buzz cut and it would have been $8 and no appointment necessary. I have been a loyal client of Air Salon for years and will continue to visit my usual stylist but this is a warning. A good sylist should know you can always go SHORTER and you never buzz hair down the middle of someone you have never cut before. SO DISAPPOINTED for the wedding photos being taken...
