PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Covington

It was ok there is no drive through at this location and even though we walked right up to the counter to order. The CSR told us she would be right with us and. There didn't seem to be any rush to get us taken care of just seems like no matter how busy it is or about to be she wasn't really eager to get people In And out quickly.. Now Grant-it she was the only employee working so maybe that is the reason for her slow and steady pace seems like maybe she was a little aggravated that noone was there to help her or maybe someone called in idk the reasoning but definitely. Should have been more than one CSR considering it was a Friday morning coffee time! 😊. But she definitely tried to be helpful and if she was frustrated she didn't let it show or the customer know any different... So all in all the service could have been faster but considering there was no drive through I guess it's more of a come in and sit while you drink and eat instead of driving thruway in a quick hurry. It was nice bc it allowed me and my bf to take it all in a and have a little one on one chat and made us realize we don't have to rush so much. Place was clean and no trash from straws or sticky messes anywhere and like I said the Clerk definitely was working on the things she could and helping customers so. But our wedding cake velvet ice didn't seem to taste like usual maybe little too sweet and the way she kinda came off when I told her I wanted a heated croissant she handed to us and told us to use the microwave over there for 10 seconds instead of her using the oven toaster was kinda a key down but given the situation she was in i...

...so unimpressed. I expected a clean store with a decent selection of breakfast items. They has only 3 bagels to choose from. Or cookies. Crumbs all over areas of customer food prep by the toaster where I had to toast my own bagel and spread the small portion of cold lumpy cream cheese from the take-out condiment size given. Wasn't expecting to have to prepare my own food after I paid for it. It was like being in someones semi dirty kitchen at their house or something. Bathroom just smelled like piss. Just a real letdown, and I will not be back. If you need coffee, drive an extra 10 mins and go find a Starbucks. To the owners of this store, you should be ashamed of the conditions there. When ordering coffee or expresso it takes at least 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee first off. Then when ordering coffee you ADD + things such as syrup, whip cream, X-TRẢ shots you literally have to WATCH your drink being made, because you will NOT get your whip your x trả shot or your correct flavor in it. I wonder why Pj’s have so many problems. Also I got served watered down espresso. Like who does this? Never will do BUISNESS with PJ’s again. I’ve lost so much money think about it $0.50 for the x-trá’s and think how many people buy coffee and not get their whittle X-trá’s. I wonder how much money they save on that in their department.
