Wendy's — Restaurant in Covington

I sat in the drive through for 25 minutes without having anyone take my order. When I first arrived there was another vehicle in front of me (a truck). He sat there for the first 10 minutes and then drove off after no one came over the intercom. I pulled forward and waited for a moment. After another minute I called the store. They immediately picked up the phone. A young lady answered and I told her I had been waiting for 10 minutes in the drive through without any service. She told me it was shift change and that if I could just wait a minute then she would be with me. That was fine. However, I asked how my much longer they thought I would have to wait and she said 10 MINUTES. I was shocked and said 10 minutes really? I am just trying to order two chocolate milks for the kids and that was it. She proceeded to get an attitude with me and say yes it would be that long because there was no one there to do the register. (All the while I hear several people speaking and laughter in the background of the call). I said so there is nobody who can just let me get two kids chocolate milks? And she said no and HUNG UP on me! So I waited a moment more, thinking maybe they just needed a minute more. After 5 minutes I called again. To which the lady who picked up the phone said “911 what’s your emergency?” I said “Can I speak to a manager?” She said she was the manager. I asked her for her name - she said it was Rebecca. This was at 5pm on Thursday evening. I told her I had been waiting for 25 minutes with no service and she also told me it was shift change and that she just walked in the door. I said okay, I am just trying to order two kids chocolate milks and she said she has to find her staff?????? So I said “there is no one that can ring up a chocolate milk?” She can’t ring a chocolate milk up.....? How is this person a manager of a Wendy’s if she can’t ring something up.. so I said I would be calling corporate. I asked if she could give me the number to corporate and she told me to look it up online and she proceeded to hang up on me as well. They finally came over the intercom and I politely said I needed two kids chocolate milks. I drove forward and paid in cash for the milks. I heard a staff member say inside “is that her????” And when they handed me the milks I said “yes it is me and I will be calling corporate now.” Which I am currently on the phone with. Terrible service. Terrible people. I will be expecting a call from service recovery personnel. Totally...

Okay, today was the 3rd time I've been to this Wendy's and it's the last straw. First time going for the "hot and crispy" fries- they were greasy and soggy. Second time, we went for 2 strawberry frosties. The drive through line was super long, so I went inside. There were workers all over, but NO ONE at the front register. The couple in front of me left, and one other guy (bless his heart) powered through standing in front of the registers for about 20 mins. No one even acknowledged us! Insane. I ended up going back to the car, ordering online using the app, and no one brought my stuff to the curbside pickup for orders. I had to walk back in and ask them to get my stuff, which they immediately did, but only after I flagged someone down. This morning, was hoping 3x's a charm. Completely empty drive thru. Ordered French toast sticks, which I've been looking forward to since they were announced. Pulled up, ordered, and waited so long. Like, I used to work in fast food. I know how long it takes to fry stuff. This took an absurd amount of time. When we got them, I had to roll down our windows because they REEKED of oil. It stunk so bad. I took one bite of each stick before deciding I was going to be sick from the sheer amount of oil on them. They didn't even taste like egg or bread. Just oil. So nasty! Avoid this Wendy's...

After tonight I’ll never get food in Covington again …. The real clones live out here cause these workers something special … this bihh had the AUDACITY to give me my cup with the straw already in it …. Like ….. never in my life have I gone somewhere and the straw already in my cup … like never and it’s a freakin Wendy’s y’all not even 5 stars …. Tf .. I said “ why is there a straw already in my cup “ shorty was like “ oh I put it in there for you “ …. Girl who tf asked you or even told you to do that … … I told her to take the drink back and please make me another one … the manager brings me the same cup drink back without the straw and thought it was cool I threw that shxt down right on the ground cause homegirl didn’t even have gloves on when she touched my straw … Wendy’s on the industrial side of Covington is on some other shxt fr . Not even to mention they gave me old fries as well I left a trail of them down the...
