Iam new to Cranberry twp and a co-worker recommended this was a great place to grab a quick bite so i tried it and when i got there it was so busy to wear i walked in and the line was so long i was about to turn around and go somewhere else for lunch (keep in mind iam new to the area and only have 45 mins for lunch) but when i turned around about to leave i hear a loud very friendly and happy voice saying WELCOME to firehouse subs and we are working as fast as we can to get everyone taking care of in a timely matter. I couldnt see the person who said that I just saw 3 men behind the counter working very well together and comunicating on the orders and the guy in front of me said dont worry she means what she said I come hear 3x a week for lunch and iam in and out with the longest ever in 30 mins or less with a full belly. He was very nice so he started telling me about the sandwiches and his personal fav was the hero and before i knew it there were only 3 people a head of me and i seen this little woman behind the register just taking orders smiling and makeing quick small talk as she was doing her job and we made eye contact and she quickly again said welcome to firehouse and thanked me for being patient and ill be right with you. I never even seen her she was so tiny behind the counter but for such alittle woman she had a loud voice that just makes you smile she is so friendly and sweet and goes above and beyond her duties in custmer service. its now my turn and she said thankyou for waiting what can i get for me today. I told her i never been here before and she quickley said well you came to the right place my name is Tennille and ill be glad to help you on what to decide to have for lunch she was so knowledgeable about the menu and I ened up getting the turkey bacon ranch combo with a cookie. Just her voice and smile makes you feel so welcome and no matter how busy they were she has away of making you feel like your the only one there and makes sure my sandwich was made right she repeated everything to me then said to the guy next to her please pay attention to the to the ticket it s made special for the way i would like it and he said no problem and smiled at me and said I got you mam....The teamwork there is so impressive I just was shocked I highley recomend this place to everyone now I still dont know whats better the food or the service I now go about 2 to 3x's a week and Tennille makes me feel like family she always says hi to me ask me how my day is and always remembers my name. Ive been going there for almost a month and everytime she remembers our past conversation and it blows my mind iam so glad I stayed that first time I went cause the guy in front of me was so corrrect no matter how busy they are you are literally in and out in less then 30 mins even if the line is to the door. I have gotten to know Tennille and Nelson and Destiny and they are a great team i even meet the GM very sweet girl cant remember her name but she also goes above and beyond to help her employees in every way. The only thing i dont like about is the young man who just stands there looking around and he seems like the odd one out I dont know if hes new or not but he never smiles or greets any patron while i am there but Tennille and the crew just have this great work ethic that goes way above custmer service there always laughing making jokes and killing it at the sametime taking care of everyone in the resturant but as i like to call them the fab 5 they...
Read moreEdit* I will add a star because I have started going earlier in the day and the young men who have been there are extremely friendly and my food has been on point, and timely the last several times I have gone.
I frequent here generally once a week, and I have been a consistent customer now for over 7 months visiting anywhere between 3-6 times a month. Various days and various times, and the last few months consistently the same day, almost same time. Overall, I am disappointed. I work in food service so I cut breaks and am very lax in my displeasure unless it is consistent. I In the recent months, I have noticed an increased decline in consistency of my food. I can count, over the time I have been visiting, probably 6 to 7 times my order has been made wrong. As well as, especially the last 3 months or so being consistently wrong. 5 to 6 times the wait time has been over 15 minutes when not busy and on other days almost as long as a half hour. I don't understand why this is, as the subs are the same they're making all the time. I have had numerous sandwiches with no mustard or cheese, when they're supposed to be fully involved and the hoagie includes cheese. I have had toppings missing, when eating in and recently, I order a sandwich no tomato, extra onion, add mushrooms and it seems they never put the mushrooms on, and the onion is the same amount. I have to pay extra for mushrooms, so I don't understand WHY consistently they are left off especially when my order is read back to me. A few weeks ago they made the wrong size, when I repeated my order to the person at the counter, and then had to wait a bit longer for the correct food to be made. I visit the Firehouse in Robinson and receive similar issues. I am not sure why this is such a consistent issue. I have also had issues with the service being slow when not busy as stated, and when there is several workers there talking, there is little reason my food should take more than 10 minutes at most, 20...
Read moreI have never been to a Firehouse Subs before today, and it is likely this is a once in a lifetime visit. I work across the street from this sub shop, We are always looking for a new place for lunch, so we were eager to try the restaurant during the grand opening week...it wasn't such a grand opening. My first clue should have been when I ordered - I ordered a cheesesteak, and asked for ketchup on it, I was told FS doesn't have ketchup, only mayo or mustard - on a cheesesteak?! No thanks! Fortunately, we have some packets at our office.
Anticipating a busy lunchtime crowd, I called ahead to put my order in, 11AM for a 12PM pickup. I was glad I did! When I walked in to pick up my lunch, the place was mass chaos. It was very crowded and loud, I hardly had the ability to walk through the order line to the call-ahead-pick-up-line (you would think folks picking up would have a line close to the door to scoot in and out - instead the register was at the furtherest spot AWAY from the door). The teens at the register were clueless about both customer service and the way the computers on the register worked, I was treated to listening to a young woman curse in frustration while she was trying to get the program to work; it was clear that these young people were ineffectively trained. There was an older man working the counter, but he was so intent on processing the orders that he was oblivious to what was going on at the registers. It took me 20 minutes to pick up my order. To add further insult to my bad experience, my order was not even correct. I asked for hot peppers on my sub, and was told they come with the sub. When I got back to the office, I discovered there were sauteed green peppers on my sub, but not hot peppers. So the people working the counter don't even know the product. I am sorry to say this I can not recommend...
