Amazing food, great price, good people. Service is always excellent. The bartenders Savi, Krissy, Casey and Steph are always nice, they are accommodating, they are friendly and the food comes out quickly but amazingly. You can’t ask for a better hometown place to eat and have drinks at such a great cost. I’ve been in there dozens of times and every time I’ve had nothing but great, quick service and excellent food. Even the owner comes out to meet the customers and make sure everything is great (you never see that hardly anymore). They make you feel at home every time. Coming into a “big city” of Pittsburgh can be intimidating however the bartenders and patrons are friendly, kind, caring and the service is amazing. If you really want to see a restaurant that showcases what a real Pittsburgh bar/diner is…..this is your place. Great people, great food and great symbolism of what it really means to be surrounded by amazing people/restaurant/service/hospitality of Pittsburgh and symbolize the city. I Wouldn’t go anywhere else as you’re treated as a person and not just another “chain customer” that walks through the door. Plenty of folks that grew up in town are there so they can give you some ideas on where to visit while you’re here on vacation/work or if you’re new to the area they can give you some recommendations on where to go and how to meet new people. Well the new help is hurting the business that took a lot to build. The owner is a very hard working and loves to make good food for her customers. We come here a lot and many from my family have worked here. But the new waitress wearing a cowboy hat, has and attitude that will push people that have come here walk out. We arrived to have dinner and there where 3 table with orders in front of us. The waitress was rude from onset , we placed our order for sandwiches a beer and water. After 20 min wait the beer arrives which was wrong , we Explained it was wrong and she popped off at least I brought you one!! She grabbed the beer and took it over to a other table after my boyfriend touched it. Then orders that were place after ours came out. Now we are 1 hour into waiting on sandwiches., we address the timeline and she pops off once again with her attitude say we where out of line because we ask for...

We have driven by this diamond in the rough for years. Finally we hit gold after a laborious search for a local breakfast/brunch spot! When we accidentally walked into the bar instead of the restaurant side, a friendly patron directed us to the restaurant which shared a common entry. Upon walking into the restaurant, we were greeted with a smile and a friendly "hello" from the pleasant greeter/server. After taking a glance around, we were a bit taken back by the retro 60's decor. But upon a closer inspection it was very clean and welcoming atmosphere with white linen tablecloths. At once, we were given a menu and served our drinks. The menu had a good array of choices but not overwhelmingly huge. We ordered a regular classic breakfast with 2 eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. It was speedily delivered and cooked to perfection! All for under $10./pp!! We can't wait to return for dinner...
