The waitresses are #1, the food is amazing and the portions are enough for two ( you'll have a meal the next day with your left overs)! Who can ask for better than that!!!! Recently I changed my review. Normally I like to leave my reviews as they are but this case, it requires an update. After numerous attempts to abstain from my review change, I found that this once cherished venue is under new management and the quality of the food has decreased quite quickly. Myself and several member's of my family have had similar disappointments. While there are several of the waitress's with familiar faces, that is the extent of the what is familiar about the venue. Their is little attention to detail with the food order and even less with the quality of the meal. The length of time it takes to actually get your food after being seated is long and the food has been anything but hot when served. My husband and I went here unplanned on a Sunday around 11:30. It is a good sized diner. It was hopping! We got seated in about 3 minutes. The menu has lots of breakfast items on one side and lunch on the other. We ordered omelettes. His had plenty of bacon and cheese, mine lots of fresh veggies and cheese, both served with toast and choice of potato ( or beans if you so desired). The waitress was friendly and attentive, filling our coffees when needed. Service was quick. Food was plentiful.My only criticism is that there was no seasoning on anything.
