Hands down the worst McDonald’s in the state of Rhode Island, and the manager should NOT be a manager there. I always either have to wait for my food or the food is cold. Most recently I ordered a $1.39 ice coffee and was charged $10, didn’t notice til I got home because they didn’t tell me my price at the window OR offer me my receipt. So I called them and was told to come back because they charged me for someone else’s order. I go back and go in the store and the manager issues the refund then tells me it’s going to take 3 days to go back on my card. Not to pitty myself but I don’t have a bank account full of money, the money I had in there was all I had so I explained that to him and told him I can’t wait 3 days for my money to come back when it’s their fault it’s gone in the first place. He refused to offer any other solution. He then cut me off by saying “have a nice day” and continued to walk to the back of the store, while I’m still talking to him he screams over me “I SAID HAVE A GREAT DAY” and disappeared behind the counter. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have called McDonald’s corporate and am now filing a report with the better business bureau. Absolutely appalled and will most definitely never be returning. Read moreIf I was the owner of this location, I would retrain, reprimand or fire the entire lazy crew after my experience tonight. We ordered via the indoor kiosk as the kids wanted McD as a reward. It took them 20+ minutes to fill our dine-in order of a quarter pounder, two happy meals, and some McNuggets. At 20 minutes my husband asked them where our order was. It was absolutely empty inside and there wasn't a lot of drive-up traffic to constitute an in-house wait of 20 minutes for food. It took them another 6 minutes to bring it to our table. The staff there really made it clear they were not there for the dine-in guests. The bathroom was out of toilet paper, the toilet paper there was exposed and all over the floor. The bathroom was a mess in the ladies' room. There was not any ketchup in the dispenser. Dirty tables left sitting there to be cleared whilst the entire staff just chatted amongst themselves. Food was cold and dry when they begrudgingly brought it to our table. They were not very apologetic either. Instead of chatting with each other with such a full crew, someone could have been cleaning tables, floors, checking the bathrooms and restocking the ketchup. Read moreI don’t expect fine dining service with fast food, but I don’t expect trashy and poor service either. I’ve worked fast food in the past at a few places so I try to empathize, but even during the busiest rushes we’d get I never saw anything like I see at this place. Constant attitude, things always missing from orders, wrong things placed into the order, the list goes on.
Today I ordered a combo meal (fries and drink) and a side of nuggets. They forgot the fries with the meal, it happens. I drive around again in the drive thru and let them know, they tell me to pull up to the window. A kid goes to walk my fries over to the window and hand it to me, and some fell out of the carton before he gets to the window. A coworker tells him to put more fries in since it looks empty now and he can’t hand it to me looking like that (not realizing I could hear them). The kid walks away from the window and comes back a second later with clearly the same amount of fries in the carton. On top of that, he didn’t even put it in a bag to hand it to me, just walked it over with no gloves on and reached out the window. It wasn’t worth it to argue so I took it and left because I already wasted so much time just to get an order corrected. I’m not settling for this...
