The service from the lady up front with black and red highlights was unacceptable. I went in this weekend and asked what kind of empenadas they had. The woman told me this is it for right now (showed me the case with just ham and cheese ones) i said ok, i guess ill try those. I paid. As i was paying a chef rings a bell with a giant bowl full of fresh ones all different kinds. Now i know, it would of taken 3 seconds to simply ask the chef if they were making more instead of offering me one kind that was cold and terrible. That was lazy, and rude and poor customer service. I also got attitude from her and dirty looks also. This is a great business with a good menu. It has good potential, but not with rude staff sadly!!!! My boyfriend also works down the st and went last week with friends from work and got the same lady up front and knew exactly who i was speaking a out when i told him about this. So that means she wasn’t just having a bad day. She’s actually always this rude. Do yourself a favor and hire people who enjoy working there and are polite and offer basic customer...
Read moreFood is really good and tasty. the chopped cheese sandwich does not disappoint and i like the chicken empanadas, and my fave shake of all time is the pink starburst. it's so light and not too sugary and just the way the flavors blend together is amazing on the palette.
Some of the cashiers I've encountered are nice, but the girl with the red and black hair needs to learn proper customer service. she comes off very bothered, annoyed, rude and unhelpful. whoever wrote that good review about her down below must be a friend, or it's her behind a fake account because as you can see i am not the only one who has mentioned her. I don't want to drive the 25 min to this location (albeit newer and cleaner in appearance) and risk having her be the cashier, so I'd rather just go to the Manton location.
i hope owners and management heed this warning that no matter how good your food is, it's only as good as the customer service you provide with a positive energy. no one wants to spend $$ on anything in this economy to rude/unpleasant people with...
Read moreMy first time trying this place was yesterday. I stopped in because I thought it was a breakfast place to get coffee. But it wasn’t lol, although they do have breakfast sandwiches. But I thought might as well try it while I was there. Anyways, they were not even open but unlocked the door and let me in. The staff and owner were very nice. We chatted for a bit, and then I ordered a few empanadas to try, since they just came out. They were fantastic. I personally loved the chicken the best. They were so good, I came back around dinner time with my GF and ordered 10 more, so she could try them. We ended up getting 2 of each. Now it’s a toss up between chicken and the ham and cheese as my favorite. So If you like empanadas and Cuban sandwiches, you need to check out this spot. You will love it....
