Visited T's for the first time in over 20 years. I remember it as a little hole-in-the-wall breakfast joint with delicious eggs, pancakes, French toast... the usual breakfast fare but prepared perfectly every time. They have obviously been successful with that and were able to make major renovations to the restaurant. The dining room is beautiful and modern which impressed me. Only issue I had was it seems they want the menu to match the decor. Took me 15 minutes to decipher some of the dishes. Everything had a cute little name and when you read the descriptions there was artisan this and whole grain that... Now I'm sure this will suit all the "foodies" out there and some of the trendier crowd and that's fine. But for me, when I go out for breakfast I'm looking for greasy spoon fare. A cheesy omelet with bacon and regular toast cooked perfectly. The toast had all kinds of grains and seeds on it... just pop 2 slices of Wonder bread in the toaster for me thank you! The Farmers Market omelet I ordered was heavy on raw onions and peppers to the point they were falling out every time I cut a bite out but it tasted okay. The home fries were a bit on the dry side for my liking but that's just me. Not saying the food was bad, I ate everything on my plate. Just a little too fancy for what I want from a breakfast joint. If you want to impress someone for a brunch this is a good place to go. Staff was friendly enough. We maybe lingered a little too long after eating and started getting the stink eye from the hostess but they were kind of busy and we had a big group so it's understandable I guess. I probably wouldn't take the drive here (30 minutes or so) again unless it was for some sort of engagement or business meal trying to impress someone. But the overall experience was pleasant. I would give 3 stars for me personally but that wouldn't be fair to drag down their overall rating based on my preference because you can tell they generally do care and put a lot of effort into what they do. Just not my mug of coffee,...
Read moreDon’t come here this family owned restaurant says that they are all about family but there’s nothing family about this place. They are firing people unlawfully because they aren’t able to make it back to work because of their children being out of school and no daycare‘s. And it’s not easy to get someone to care for your child because you don’t know who they have been around or what they’ve been doing, if they are asymptomatic or the children are immune compromised. It’s still hard to get a sitter that you know You can trust around your kids safety and health. HR in this company told employees that they were able to come back when their children were out of school and they were able to find care because daycare’s and everything else is still closed from coronavirus. Instead they decided to tell her she voluntarily quit her job when she never did. She even has proof of the messages and other employees are suffering the same fate. This isn’t right and this company is not a good company. I have also heard lots of horrific things that happened here. Several times they should’ve had fire department on scene to put out several fires that they have had in the past but instead they didn’t want to do that and risk the safety of employees and guests that were unaware of what was going on. I’ll because they didn’t wanna pay the extra money to be out of business for that day and having to clean everything from the fire extinguisher spray. This company is not really about family just about themselves. So...
Read moreNice clean atmosphere, good service. Ive been to this location many times over the last 5 years since I live right up the road. It was always a place where you knew what you would get: good quality food and a nice clean establishment. While I will vouch the cleanliness is still up to expectation, the food has gone straight down the drain, I don't believe I will return. My last 3 experiences I have been served COLD dry food. French toast is just a piece of bread with powdered sugar, it was so cold the butter wouldn't even melt. I don't believe they cooked it for more than 30 seconds. My girlfriend had substituted her hash-browns for fruit, they gave her HALF of a strawberry, and maybe 3 small pieces of melon. I understand things are expensive and portions may be affected, but this was just downright not caring about your product. Cold eggs, cold sausage, everything on my plate was cold. This has happened my last 3 consecutive visits. If I were you, I would not bother coming anymore, until they decide to start caring again about their product. The value is just not there, at all. It's a shame, but luckily Athenas is right up the road also. My advice: have competent kitchen staff that take maybe a little pride in what they do. I'll give them one more chance, but it'll be awhile until i bring...
