Jack's donuts — Restaurant in Crawfordsville

I love a treat of Jack's but get highly disappointed when asking at order window or counter for iced items to please not be stacked on top of each other and the employee's stack them anyway making the icing go all over the place. And when you ask for them to be fixed the employee to slam the window in your face or walk away acting as though you are not even speaking to them and before you can even ask for napkins. We all have bad days but this is usually the kind of service we have encountered before and was taken much by surprise. Not asking for perfection at all just some common courtesy and common sense.

This is not the first time it has happened or I would chalk it up to a bad day it has became a common practice the last 4 times we have stopped to treat the kids. Ownership please communicate to employees to have a friendly approach and communicate with customers they are most likely asking for an order a certain way for a reason. I absolutely love Jack’s donuts. They have delicious donuts, but I had a rather bad experience there today I communicated my drink order with the lady at the register a few different times she assured me she got it and look. I’m just having a bad day. I was excited about the coffee. I ordered a large iced caramel macchiato and she handed me a large Americano, which is not the same thing I also ordered my son a watermelon Boba, which I’ve got there many times they’re out of watermelon so he switched it to dragon fruit they ended up handing him a cup with Boba in the bottom of an ice and told him to fill up the Sprite at the fountain drink himself I was already waiting long enough. They were not fresh donuts as claimed to be. We drove from Lafayette Indiana to try them out in crawfordsville Indiana. We did this because of word of mouth. Not impressed. The donuts on the outside were very hard and old and there were some soft spots in the middle like the dough inside but it wasn't worth the trip it just didn't impress. They would have been good had they been fresh. The price wasn't too bad. But next time we'll bring a gallon of milk from home. I'm sure if you get here at 5:00 or 6:00 or maybe even 7:00 your donut would taste really good cuz they be soft like donuts are supposed to be and they would taste fresh like donuts should.
