This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to in the entire state of Florida. The employees are incompetent, some of them are down right disgusting, the staff is rude and don't want to actually do their job, and the worst part is that most of the time they're not even busy. And it doesn't matter whether you use the drive thru or the cashier line. They're both a waste of your time. Seriously. I used to order my kids food every week from them before the most recent incident I had with them (Short version: they got my order wrong too many times, incorrectly took my order in the first place, and then refunded an odd amount of change back to me, and then the final blow was them robbing me of a double cheeseburger because I ordered five and I received four), and the first time I went back after guess what happened? They got my order wrong AGAIN. First time back after a month of not going to them and they get my order wrong again. I will not be going to this McDonald's anymore. They're just inferior good for nothing people who can't make a burger that isn't overcooked to death, and I'm sick of the rude people they hire for managers (the last one they had was an extremely belligerent woman who screamed at me to "calm down" because I told her in outrage how long I had been waiting there to get my food when I had already been there for an hour and a half). Don't waste your time at this "establishment". That's why I go to the McDonald's in Chiefland now. Because those people know how to get things done. Awful. Just awful. Zero out of five. I hope they get their stuff in order because nobody deserves to be treated like the way I was treated at...
Read moreHorrible service! This store excels at being one of if not the worst McDonalds Iâve ever been to. After being interrupted numerous times while trying to give my order at the drive-thru, I was told by the woman at the pick up window to pull forward. I politely declined to pull forward. I do not pull forward at any drive-thru because, A. Itâs rude to tell folks to pull forward just so you can fool corporate into thinking youâre delivering timely service. (Most all of them have timers and sensors to see how long a particular vehicle sits in the drive-thru after ordering. And B. I do not pull forward at this particular store because many a time Iâve sat in line while the staff are busy gossiping, joking around or sharing photos on their phones with their friends in the car in front of me. And donât pull off from the window until youâve checked your order. The will invariably get it wrong or not put everything in the bag. And most of the time either the fries or the burger/nuggets, etc are cold or old. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Go a half mile north or south and try either Hardeeâs or Dairy Queen. Much better food and service. If absolutely must have McDonalds, drive south about 20 more miles and go to the one...
Read moreNot sure what happened to this location, but every time I've gone in, it's as welcoming as a morgue.
Going through the drive-thru typically results in better service, but any time I go in to place my order, I'm treated like I'm an inconvenience to the cashier, and today was the worst one yet. Cashier's attitude was anything BUT welcoming, when she attempted to read back our order, not only did she miss items, but when we corrected her about the Sausage Egg Biscuit that she read as a "Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit", she looked at us like we had a second head for a couple of seconds before fixing it on her screen.
Also, maybe this is just how I was trained (my first job was at McDonald's), but asking "Is that it?" after every single item that's given to you before giving the customer a chance to continue just says you want them out of the store as fast as possible. I was taught "Can I get you anything else?" to offer a more welcoming appearance.
All in all, think it's time to start avoiding this place if this is the new normal reception...
