We are from out of state and decided to go to this restaurant because of the reviews and particularly the several mentions of the amazing guacamole. We get there and the guy that seats us puts the menus down and walks away. The server comes and is not friendly at all. No hello, how are you, nothing. We got the papas loquitas and mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer. The marinara with the cheese sticks was so watered down it had no flavor. The bacon on our fries was hardly cooked and completely grossed me out and the ground beef has zero flavor at all and barely any cheese dip on it AND it came out with a single piece of sliced American cheese thrown on it. I wish I would have taken a picture but I was absolutely disgusted. My daughter ordered the taquitos and asked for the guac on the side and the server says they have ran out of guac but yet there were take out orders with guacamole with them. Our plates arrived and not one time did they warn that they were hot and they were EXTREMELY hot!! Nice of them to let us burn ourselves trying to move the plates. When I said something about it to the guy that brought our food he just chuckled and showed me his hot mitts. There was supposed to be 2 chicken and 2 beef taquitos and there was 4 chicken only. My daughter said they tasted disgusting and didn't eat them at all. My fiance got nachos and was very disappointed as well. I got jeuvos fundido but with chicken and chorizo. It wasn't to bad and the chorizo had a nice flavor. I asked for a side of rice and beans which cost $3 and I don't think there was even a half a cup of each on my plate. When the server came back to check on us (2 times through the whole meal and didn't seem to even care what we said at all) I asked for a side of salsa. She somehow couldn't understand what I meant and kept asking me if I wanted red sauce. How the heck do you not know what salsa is??? Overall this was a complete waste of $72. Also, when the server brought our bill she just sat it down and went to walk away without saying anything. Since we pay at the front cash register you would think she would at least say have a good night or...

We had given up going here several months back due to poor food quality. But since we live right down the street and wanting something quick and easy we decided to give them another try as we noticed a nice new sign and new paint on the building and thought maybe they made improvements to the food as well. We were wrong. Same low quality food. Rice and beans were served cold with my Chimichangas. Chicken chimi was ok. Beef chimi tasted very strange. Ew! Table side guacamole is now called fresh guacamole and the server forgot to bring it to us so we didn't get it until after we got our food. Free bean dip had so much queso in it that it was like water and gross. Salsa was way too sweet....and no spice all. All of the food is very bland and boring in flavor. However, they do have a good green habanero hot sauce on the table which I highly recommend using. If it weren't for that hot sauce breathing some life into the food I would have given 1 star. Both mixed drinks from the bar were very strong and overpoured which of course means they weren't mixed properly. I asked the server what was on the California Lemonade and she had no idea.....so I took my chances anyway. Not great.....like the rest of their products. It's too bad they still haven't gotten things in order there or we'd be there weekly. Instead, we make the drive over to Peavine where there are 2 fantastic Mexican options across the street...

Came in was not acknowledged at all. Waited up to 5 min to be seated ,was not that busy. They sat us down with menus another5 min she was not back. Server came back took our order. I ask for lemon with my tea 2x still did not get. Brought my stak and shrimp fajita it was on a cold skillet and chicken seem barley warm. Had her throw it back on grill for 3 to 4 min. My friend felt bad going ahead to eat but i didnt want her food to get cold so she was eating. I told her would she please bring my tortilla shells when they brought it she sid oh im sorry ,i said its ok. Well the fajitas came out good when they came out second time. They were sizzling on a hot plate. Unfortunatly my friend had eaten 3/4 of her dinner. She finally brought lemons after i got my food second time. Beans are water down and so is white cheese dip. Medioca food....

First time at Casa Grande and last time at Casa Grande. We purchase a Smart Card every year from our neighbors. Casa Grande has a coupon for a free small cheese dip when you dine in…no purchase necessary. We ordered 4 tacos and a small cheese dip and when we went to pay I was informed that I could not use the coupon due to the “taco special,” which we didn’t know there was a special. When I asked the gentleman to look over the coupon he told me it didn’t matter what the coupon said, and pointed to a handwritten sign hidden behind Blow Pops in front of the register. I was a little shocked and disappointed. The man was not accommodating and didn’t seem to care about getting my business in the future. Pretty much too bad so sad mentality. I won’t be back.
