Family tried Lantana & were not fans at all.

In reply: Lantana stole the Big John BBQ on google. Most reviews are for Big Johns, NOT Lantana. My original review was for Big Johns, I’ve NEVER given a review for Lantana. When I noticed they stole the Big John reviews I updated my review. Also on their building it says for sale.

Friends insisted we try Big Johns BBQ when we visited... Totally worth it! If you blink, you will miss them. Small location with GREAT food!!! The ribs are sooo naturally sweet and fall off the bone! Their sauces (only tried 2, mild & I asked for medium, but not sure their name for it) are very good!!!! Don’t need sauce for the ribs they are that good... but even better with it! I’m super picky with my potato salad, theists is very good! Went back for more even! Will be coming back in...

I stopped in this savory smelling spot because of the wonderful smokey aroma of pork, chicken, ribs, wafting in the air while passing by. I was almost on autopilot as I kept driving but had to stop at the next safe & available place to turn around and go back! I left this place with (2) lbs. of the moistest and tastiest pulled pork paired with a pack of fresh buns to take home. It was all I could do to drive home without sneaking a big bite out of my heavy box_ The aromatic flavor smell overtook my car and palate. 👌 I finally made it home and took the time to pray over this blessed meal and it was incredible! Folks this is the place for bbq; no doubt about it. The pork was fresh, smokey, moist, and so lean_ I just cannot find the words to describe how very much we enjoyed this for our dinner. Visiting from Florida we were looking for some BBQ. We stumbled upon this tasty local BBQ spot definitely worth stopping for. Meats were so tender yet bursting with that smoky Tennessee flavor, that’s how you know it’s done right. Every bite just makes you say and think ‘yum’. Also tried the BIG RIG, beans, mango slaw, and ‘tater salad, which all were delicious. Try the mango slaw, it’s definitely different in a good way! We’re so happy they were able to accommodate our family into their establishment despite us being a large party so unexpectedly, to that we also appreciate their welcoming personalities.
