First off let me say, I'm originally from Winston Salem NC. As I was getting off the 18 wheeler truck from Tennessee, i needed something to eat. So of course I stopped by Wendy's to grab something. Yo know there was no guests but my mother I and 1 other person, I would have thought the food would have been FRESH! I've worked for Wendy's before... So I know how it should go. Wasn't nothing fresh but the burger! So as I go to tell the manager about it. He remade my sandwich and told his employee to check the nuggets to see if they were still good after I told him they were old. Why did he get a nod as to the nuggets were still good. Hand me my sandwich and told me have a good day. And to think between my mother and I spent over $20 was enough money if I had a complaint, they should have fixed it. But since I stay in NC, it would be pointless to make a scene or call about my experience. Instead I would rather give anybody else a heads up, ASK FOR FRESH FOOD! It is a truck stop, and the service wasn't up to par when I told the manger face to face the food...
Read moreI generally order the same thing from this Wendys in the Pilot in Crossville. I ALWAYS order my burgers the same way, NO cheese, and LOTS of onion on them. I have to sit there in my truck for around five hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays 'til the warehouse has my load ready to pick up, so I usually get something from Wendys. However, 3 times out of five, they'll mess up, either not enough onion, or they put cheese on them. Today, grabbed a couple of double stacks, and I always emphasize to the cashier NO cheese and extra onion, LOTS of onion, that's exactly what I tell them. I got two double stacks, with cheese and literally one tiny ring of onion, could have used them as a literal ring on my finger! So, they will no longer have my business, I'll start parking at the truck stop on the other side of the interstate. They have a DQ, and their burgers are really good, plus they fix them like I want them EVERY time, any time I've been there. If you order a special burger at Wendy's, check it before you leave the counter, chances are high, it...
Read moreIf you want to feel ignored, disrespected, and unwelcome, this Wendyâs has perfected the art. If the general manager reads only one review this month, I hope itâs this one because what I experienced at this Wendyâs was beyond unacceptable. I walked in expecting a quick, friendly meal and instead got hit with eye rolls, sarcasm, and a level of rudeness I didnât think possible in a customer facing job.
From the moment I approached the drive-thru, it felt like I was a problem to be tolerated rather than a paying customer. The employees were more interested in chatting with each other than taking orders, and when I asked a simple question about my meal, the response was dripping with attitude.
This wasnât just a âbad dayâ vibe it was a total breakdown of professionalism and basic respect. If this is how guests are treated regularly, the issue isnât one employee⌠itâs the culture at...
