Culver’s — Restaurant in Crystal Lake

Very nice atmosphere, music and food. Their North Atlantic Cod dinner w/fries and coleslaw is my favorite. Fish tastes so fresh and the coleslaw isn’t too sweet or sour. But their double butterburger w/cheese and fried onions is another fav. If you get a single you’ll be disappointed. It’s way too thin. I like their burgers b/c you don’t get that funny aftertaste w/their burgers. While I generally like lettuce and tomato on my burgers, their lettuce is horrible- could definitely take pointers from Portillo’s on that. And don’t expect the customer service as in Chick-Fil-A. Numerous servers went by and never offered to take our tray, lol, including the one that brought our custard desserts. It sets back off 14 but not far down the street...

Was there with my mom the other day and we had a lot leftover. Went to the counter for boxes and was given small boxes food would leak through and was too small for what we needed. Returned to the counter for better to go boxes and was ignored by the manager Alex who was training someone. Finally was helped by an older gentleman who gave us exactly what I was requesting. When I mentioned to Alex the boxes were insufficient, she swore at me so I swore back at her. What she did was unbelievable. Ive tried contacting Corporate all day without being able to talk to an actual person. What kind of company is this? I want Alex reprimanded and feel Corporate needs to know how she treats valuable customers. What a joke this place is with...

It’s our go-to spot for a quick dinner or lunch. I am reluctant to share how often we eat here, both meals and dessert, because you will judge me as a parent. Burger, fries and soda are always hot and delicious. The soda is not hot. But salads, chicken/fish/pot roast/reuben sandwiches, and traditional dinners add variety to the typical fast food menu. The mashed potatoes and gravy are a less non-nutritious substitute for fries, and rival KFC in quality.

Inevitably but infrequently the humans that work there make mistakes on our orders. Whenever this happens, they or their overlords in management always make it right and leave me more impressed than frustrated.
