My family thinks the food is really good here.
I think it is overpriced.
12.29+8.5% tax for 4 chicken fingers - IF you actually get 4 full sized fingers every single time.
This time we did get a good portion of fries, but we have been here several times when we get "Park Citied" on the fry portion or something else.
We also ordered 2 Bob's for each box combo which were done nicely, occasionally they are also a hit or miss here.
So the crew was on today, front and back, in that regard.
BUT, one of the meals came with 3 chicken fingers and 1 chicken toe. At $2.50 (taking out the cost of the fries, BOB and drink) a piece that is little pricey for 1/2 a finger.
I did mention it when I picked up the order, they seemed to not understand or didn't want to swap it out for a complete hand.(4 fingers)
This happens 15-20% of the time so I'd like to have Cane's corporate let me know what the magic phrase is to get a replacement finger for a toe.(the toe is the 3rd from the left in the posted picture) next time it happens.
Or have someone in the back Quality control the fingers and slip them in to the kids meals or drive throughs etc.
If somebody is ordering 4 or more box combos they are already into you for over $54 or more, if you want to stick it to
If you look at all the marketing materials in store and on Caned website you don't see any "tiny" chicken fingers, not 1.
So, they are sort of setting expectations and setting their own mark of excellence to reach, so reach it.
Thanks.
FYI: "Park Citied" is when you pay a lot of money for food at a restaurant and then you are extremely underwhelmed by the food, portions, service and experience. As in...
Read moreYesterday we decided to come here for dinner and it must of been for a reason. At the drive thru the man over the speaker cracked a joke asking my husband if he had any Pokémon in the car since his name is Ash 😂 It was funny and when we got up to the window we got to meet the gentleman who was on the other side of that speaker. His name is Erik, with a K 😊. Idk what you believe in, some may call it fate but I believe we were meant to cross paths with Erik. His kindness was overwhelming during such a dark time right now with everything going on overseas. When he handed us our food he said that he paid for it because we participated in his humor. When we were leaving he came running out because he accidentally gave us the wrong meal. He didn’t know that my husband is Palestinian but it is something we talked about when he ran out. We told him that his kindness really showed us the humanity in this world and gave us faith in people. I don’t know what we did to deserve his kindness, but I think he should be praised for it. I know he is going to get really far in life just by his selflessness, small acts of kindness go a very far way and simply because of that we will absolutely be back. Thank you Erik, a...
Read moreWas excited when we got a canes here. I had heard good things about it. Lived up to my expectations; it’s now my favorite chicken fast food chain.
Pop eyes is very good but I like canes more; but the one thing they have over canes is the delicious biscuits. If canes had biscuits then I’d pick them every time over pop eyes.
Good food, big portions. Normally I get the 3 piece tender set, but today was such a disaster for me personally. I was stressed about my fathers health after dropping him off at a doctors appointment, and stopped here on the way home. Food, and fast food, is a great comfort to me when I’m stressed and this really hit the spot.
I didn’t have breakfast so I ordered the caniac combo set and it was too much for me. But that’s fine I’m eating the left overs for dinner. Pictured is what you get with the set. Highly recommend for fast food chicken, and the staff was very kind and helpful even though they were so busy during...
