I was so excited when I saw it was open 24hrs as it was roughly 1am. I'm disabled, so it made me happy knowing I'd be able to go in and have a seat. Not many places are open late or all hours in this area and even less are accessible without a vehicle. There was only one person working it seemed but, I don't think that can be an excuse for lack of cleanliness as there was no customers. I ordered a frozen coffee but wasn't able to get one because 'the machine is only a little frozen' 🙃 so, iced it is I guess. Also ordered an egg, cheese, and sausage bagel and hash browns. When I sat down I saw small light brown bugs on the table and in the napkins. The food was ready wildly fast however was greasy and didn't taste right. The oil pan or wherever food is fried/cooked needs to be cleaned/changed. There was small burnt pieces of random all over the food. Then, while only being there for maybe 10 minutes at this point.. food nowhere near finished(even though I didn't plan to), I was asked to leave. The worker said I have a minute to finish up but then I need to leave because they are closing. I was so confused and over the entire situation I just said okay and packed up and left the seating area I was in cleaner than it was when I arrived and went outside. I stopped to look at the hours posted on the door to see if there was something I was missing but it said open 24hrs everyday. I probably should have asked for a refund, at the least because overall this whole experience was nothing besides a disappointment and I wasted money. I feel like I should add that, I went by a different location a couple of days later hoping to have a better time at that one and even though it also said it was open 24hrs, it was closed, at like 2pm. Maybe, it's been closed temporarily or something I'm not sure. (27th st a little N of Layton) Anyway, there's that.. hopefully nobody else has or will have a...
Read moreDrink order was wrong and when questioned she stated it was from sitting. The same drink is ordered all the time and it never does that. I’m allergic to diary and it had foam on it which I asked for it not to. She walked away to remake it and she was making hand gestures and saying something loudly. She came back with the same cup with less in it. The cup had the same sticker on it. We then asked for it to be remade. It still didn’t look right but took it anyways. We were then missing items which as soon as we asked she knew. She came back and said we are out. Then offered a doughnut instead the item was double the price. We questioned the pricing and she says you can 4 doughnuts. We asked what kinds were available, she says I don’t know. Now at this time we had been at the window for 10 minutes so we asked for a refund instead. She says she can’t but then the manager comes over and recognizes me since I come thru a lot. I ask for a refund he says come back in a half hour, I state I can not but can come tonight after work. (Noted the time) He says okay. I return and he’s not there and they offer what was missing and no refund. They call the manger and says we misunderstood which we did not. My drink also made me sick after drinking so it had to have diary even tho she said it didn’t. I can not take a chance of returning with an allergy that has been getting worse. There was no misunderstanding so all of this was unacceptable and it’s the next day. I’m upset they don’t care about their customers!! This could have been a major problem with someone with a severe...
Read moreDunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Coffee: I loathe the cold of late autumn & winter; however, the frigid temperatures do improve one of my favorite indulgences. That indulgence is a good cup of coffee. As much as I enjoy the caffeinated brew, a warm cup just isn’t as appealing on an 80 degree day in August. What is appealing is taking in a steaming mug of pumpkin spice coffee on a cool October morning while peacefully reading one of Mr. King’s masterpieces in my office. Thankfully Dunkin’s take on pumpkin spice coffee allows me to do just that. Opening the bag of grounds expels a forceful aroma of pumpkin spice. Once brewed the java is smooth and flavorful. Sipping it evokes thoughts of autumn, pumpkin farms, pumpkin pie, and of course Halloween. Dunkin's coffee is a winner on its own but pairing it with a number of pumpkin flavored pastry products will really give your taste buds something to howl about this Halloween. The packaging is an eye-catching orange and the 2024 packaging depicts a mouthwatering slice of pumpkin pie (complete with whipped cream). If I find myself unable to sleep much this Halloween season it could be from all the scares or it could be from all of the delicious Dunkin's pumpkin spice coffee I’ve consumed (or even scarier, it might be from all the sugar & candy!). Doughboy...
