McDonald's — Restaurant in Cudahy

First I went to get 6 Sandwiches cuz I saw an Ad on TV for 2/$4 for Egg McMuffins... (Most people don't read the FINE Print about where the Sales Are Effective) We just know "McDonald's is SAYING, Here's a Sale for 2/$4"...!! I LOVE Egg McMuffins, so with a McDonald's right down the St. and I hadn't eaten yet, I thought I'd get the Deal and "Then Some" being as I was already there and then I'd have some for the next day... so I put my Order in 6 Sandwiches w/o Cheese and Strip Bacon & 2 Hashbrowns at the Drive Up & He gave me my Total... $22! I said: How can that be if they're 2/$4? He said: They don't have that Deal at this Location... I said I wanted to talk to a Mgr cuz I saw it on TV and he said that wouldn't matter cuz it probably had it on the Fine Print on the Screen that it's only for "Certain Locations"... I said, that's not Right! McDonald's is a Corp., if they Advertise something, it should be for Everywhere, not just Select Locations!!! I wasn't Happy, I changed my Order reluctantly, thinking of just leaving but instead I Ordered just 2 Sandwiches w/o Cheese and Strip Bacon & 1 Hashbrown... so being Supper time, it was really busy, so I had to wait a bit to get up to pay and the guy I gave the order to tried to explain but I said, McDonalds is STILL a Corporation and they Shouldn't make it so Difficult for their Customers about Sale Prices that they Advertise by Putting Everything in "FINE" Print! I then said, it's a Busy line, I'm not gonna keep you Busy, but I will be calling Corporate and complaining about this cuz this is Bull! So I pulled forward... as Soon as I got to the Next Window, the Girl asked me to Pull Forward to the Outside Waiting Area cuz I was gonna have to Wait a While for my "Special Order"... I Said: WHAT? Seriously? Why? She gave me this Long Speech about McDonald's wouldn't Make Money if they didn't make one's like me pull forward cuz they apparently Premake just so many Sandwiches at a Time and when those run out then they'll make more and being Breakfast Sandwiches, they don't go as fast as the Lunch Time one's do at that time of the day even tho they are on the menu Now "All Day"... that's a Choice McDonald's Made! Is that a Good Choice? Who knows, but it's a Choice you should have to deal with both $ Wise & Complaint Wise when you decide to do something like that! Especially when you have SALES on that Item! So I told that Girl: so not only don't I get the Sale that was Advertised on TV, but now I have to WAIT for the Item by Pulling Forward as tho it's a Special Order just cuz I asked for you to take the Cheese off of it... (which is TECHNICALLY an EASIER and SIMPLER Sandwich to Make, in any Universe!!! But I had to Wait LONGER!!!!) I did only wait 5 mins at the Most but that's besides the point! I should have received the Sale right off, would have saved me time & you $... When a Third person brought out my Order, she apologized for my inconvenience... I noticed that the bag way too big, I looked inside... There were 6 sandwiches & 2 hashbrowns... but 3 of the sandwiches had cheese on them and being as I don't like cheese on mine, I Thank Them for my Extra Sandwich & Extra Hashbrown... That was Nice of them!! I Know it's Not Your Workers Choice, but McDonald's needs to look into changing their Advertising Rules! If you Advertise a Price, then that's what it should be! None of these Games of Reading the Fine Print Baloney!! Your not the Only Fast Food that does it,...

This store employs the most inept, slow moving morning crew that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Previously I had to write a letter... A LETTER... to get a $3 refund for my morning coffee because they kept me waiting in the curbside for over 10 minutes. This morning at 8:21 a.m. I pulled into the drive-thru, because I refuse to use the app anymore since they even forget you or never have it ready so what is the point? I ordered my morning coffee as I normally do once again only a $3 order. When I finally got to the window the girl decided to make me wait 4 minutes while she stacked McDonald's happy meal boxes never looked at me never acknowledge me never said give me a minute just ignored me completely. So I drove off. It shouldn't be this difficult to get one coffee. If I had made a big order I understand but nobody has 10 minutes to wait for a coffee. It's coffee. And anytime I order anything else no matter how mundane the order may be, they either miss an item or they make the item incorrectly etc. Honestly they need to step up their game. I understand that after the pandemic they're short staff or whatever but I'm short staffed at my job and I don't struggle this badly with simple things like a coffee. And I would never get away with just ignoring the customer. Honestly for all this hassle I'll just start making coffee at home because it's less of a problem. I would advise to have people who can speak coherent English and aren't bothered about stacking boxes at the window. You can have someone...

The lack of professionalism and kindness astounded me today. I drove up to the drive thru to pick up a door dash order and a minute later all the lights suddenly went off and the screen said “drive thru closed”. Keep in mind, the restaurant closes at 10:30 and I was there at 10 so they shouldn’t have been closed. I then pulled up to the pick up window to see if someone could help me there (the lobby was also closed) and I saw 3 young workers who CLEARLY saw me as well. I tried to tell them that I was there to pick up a doordash order but they completely ignored me! I sat in the drive thru for about ten minutes hoping that they would help me but they didn’t and Instead, they sat there talking and laughing with each other. I could hear what they were saying so I know dang well they could hear me yelling “I’m here for a doordash pickup” I eventually reached out to the people who ordered the food and had to tell them to cancel it. I’m just astounded by this. I’ve worked in customer service in the past and I sure as heck would have opened that drive thru window and showed the customer some curtesy but these people clearly only care about themselves. So incredibly disgusted. Not to mention I didn’t get paid by doordash since I couldn’t complete the delivery. Wasted gas, time, and money for this....
