If possible, I would give this place negative stars. It was an awful customer experience and the manager made it worse. I work in customer service, have previously worked in the service industry, and for many years in food and beverage service. I was appalled by the total disregard for our time and the inconvenience caused. A family member made a reservation here for a Tuesday evening because we had family in town from out of state for a funeral; the reservation was changed to be later in the evening since some of us were driving back from the funeral in Northern Wisconsin. The waitress was nice, but seemed to be a little inexperienced and probably should have had help with such a large group; because of that it was a while before we were able to put our orders in - I was hungry but I can live with that. Drinks and a dessert came out to the wrong people, as well as announcing loudly each appetizer, salad & dressing or soup to find out who they went to - not the worst thing in the world either but it did interrupt conversation and I felt it was rude. After we finished, we asked for our bills. At 9 pm, within a minute of receiving them two of us had our cards ready with the receipts. We were told "I need to say "Hi" to someone quick, I'll come back." What? Over 15 minutes later, she finally returns to take our cards, and when she brought our receipts back to us to sign a few of us noticed we were charged incorrectly, so we brought it to her attention. She came back with another staff member and they took back our cards so they could "void" the transactions. At this point I very specifically said I wanted to see the detailed receipt again before my card was charged a second time and to have something that said void on the first transaction (almost $10 to much). We could see the two young ladies up front with a gentleman who we assumed to be a manager trying to figure out the problem. Another 15 mins later, over half of our party is gone, and they still have our cards, no one has updated us, apologized or offered us any kind of comp for our troubles - just left us sitting and waiting. A member of our party finally approaches them (at about 9:30) to ask what's going on, they advised him their system was having issues and is charging cards incorrectly. We continued to wait and someone in my group says "Are we going to be comped anything or at least get a discount off of our bill? We've been waiting 45 minutes just to pay." The manager, (who said his name was Frank) laughed and loudly said "No, we're not doing that." He was beyond rude and completely unapologetic, even though they inconvenienced us. I was charged to much, but one couple of the party was only charged HALF - they could have not said anything at all and just paid the bill, but we brought it to their attention. Never have I worked at, or been to an establishment that made an error and not gotten an apology, some sort of discount, a credit for our next visit, offered a dessert to take home - SOMETHING. Our waitress was nice and did seem apologetic; but there should always be an apology from management, and is usually something that compensates you for your time/trouble. "Frank" tried to blame us because we were later than the original reservation; Come ON! It was a Tuesday night and when I arrived at 7:10 (yes I was ten mins late) the restaurant was next to empty! Its not like they were holding a table for us in a packed restaurant... So blaming us for what? Technology problems? Or the fact that it took so long we were still there at closing? After almost an hour of waiting to pay, I paid in full what I believe was my original total (because I never got that detailed receipt I asked to have back) and left. I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE; I'm disgusted with the treatment of customers by the management and the food wasn't bad but it wasn't that...

Date night, loved it!!!!!!! We tried quite a few items, that's how we test a new place out to see if we will return. Started off with mac and cheese bites that were fried to a perfect crisp served with some of the best marinara sauce I've had since I can remember. Next was the generous half order of eggplant again paired with the red sauce and both apps were great. Salad course was next and no complaints cool and crisp I had the caesar and again very good. Entrees are what really make or break a place for me and again everything was wonderful I had the Crab Linguini Alfredo and my guest had the Chicken Parm. both outstanding and a hearty portion enough that we both had plenty to enjoy the next day and trust we did. They did have a special which I will try the next time featuring a champagne sauce, crab, spinach and tomatoes sounded very good and the sauce I tried was awesome. The staff was very friendly and prompt, the host Megan greeted us warmly and smiled then sat us right way. Our beverages never made it below 1/2 empty with the service assistant asking politely if we wanted a refill and the returning quickly with our glasses. Our server Roxanne was very knowledgeable and pleasant attentive without being intrusive all and all a very personable and we will definitely request her again. Looking forward to the next time we can dine at this...

First time dining in. We normally order delivery. The food was very good but menus are out dated. Asked for a Redds, said they never carried that. Showed menu. Yeah we don't have that. Ok, I'll have an angry orchard, again on the menu. Yeah sorry we don't have that either. Um ok, do you have a hard cider? Let me check. They have cider boys, fine by me, but boy that was a hassle. Then to apps, we will have the deep fei3d pickle wedges please. Um, Yeah we don't have those. Haven't in over 2 years. I look at menu, and it says NEW, ok. N3vermind, we will have the garlic bread. Which was delicious but in the same, update your menus. Then the atmosphere, I'm good with a little entertainment, but we were seated in between 3 large parties of people. One table which were loudly talking about how they were racist. No waitstaff shut doen the 30+ minute conversation on how this table didnt like people of color. Smh. Then another table the "drinking too much" father was yelling at his teenage daughter for being rude and disrespectful. Now I mind my business but am also very observant. This girl hadn't even said 2 words and was sitting respectfully and not doing anything to warrant the yells. It was an awkward dinner. We will continue to get the delivery option as it always comes very yummy. But will not be...

Papa Luigi’s Tiramisu: Papa Luigi’s opened in 1982 by founder Sal Purpora. He’s since passed running the business on to one of his sons, but they still use Sal’s mom’s Sicilian recipes. The restaurant has plenty of menu options, but I’m skipping to dessert. I’m told tiramisu translates to “pick me up” or “cheer me up” and it certainly did. Its origins are disputed to be from the Italian regions of Veneto or Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is a coffee flavored dessert made with ladyfingers dipped in coffee or espresso, layered with a sweet, whipped mascarpone cream, and flavored with cocoa. As it is made with coffee there is caffeine in it, but it is a miniscule amount as typically only a half cup of coffee is used for an entire cake (and this is just one piece). I’ve never had a dessert with a texture quite like tiramisu. It’s difficult to describe, but it is rather interesting. It has some cake-like properties to it, but it’s “spongier” and there are the layers of whipped cream. I say spongy, but soggy might be more accurate as it’s dipped in coffee/espresso. The whipped cream is my favorite part as it’s sweet, rich, and pairs perfectly with the more bitter flavor of coffee. If you love coffee and dessert than tiramisu is a must try. Stopped at Luigi's again recently with some friends that had never been there before. They LOVED it! It was "booming" and so great to see so many people supporting a local business! Our waitress Lexi (LOVE HER) made my night with her kind, and supporting words. We will ALWAYS be back!! Obviously, we LOVE this place!!! Awesome food, pizza portions are HUGE. Service was great. If you want an authentic Italian experience (complete with Dean Martin songs), you need to dine here!! In the back of the restaurant (there's an entrance there), they have nostalgic photos. There's also a bench w/ a statue for "family" photos...if you choose! It's a family business and the (wonderful) family is truly involved with the community it serves. Obviously, I can't say enough-check it out for yourself!

We ordered dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday. I had heard such wonderful things about this restaurant and so we figured we’d give it a try. I am going to to be perfectly honest with you, I was SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! The food tasted ok, nothing special but ok. The portion size was ridiculously small especially in relation to the price. We paid $29 for gnocchi Alfredo, (there was a $2 up charge for the Alfredo instead of marinara. The portion size was that of a child’s portion. When I called to register my disappointment, no attempt to rectify the situation was made. I will NOT order from or patronize Papa Luigi’s again…and I recommend you stay away from it too. (I hate giving poor reviews).
