The food was decent and typically-priced for a roadhouse, although the Caesar salad was one of the worst I've had. The ribs were very tasty, I will say that. Other than that, it was not a pleasant dining experience, and we had Alabama's worst waiter!!
The seating hostess was impersonal and borderline rude, the atmosphere was that of a noisy bar, and then there was our server... oh boy. No joke, probably the worst waiter I've ever had in any restaurant anywhere. He was not friendly (seems to be a theme amongst the staff here), his long hair was hanging down in his face and could have easily fallen onto plates or food or tables, etc, he did the bare minimum to get by as a server, if that. After taking our initial order and delivering drinks, he did not come by our table again for another 20-25 minutes or so, and my husband's drink sat empty for about 15 minutes. The restaurant was not busy, especially our section. After getting the attention of the hostess, she went to find our server, who took another 5 minutes to come to our table. The manager came over, who was nice and helpful enough but not overly professional, he refilled our drinks, took our order, all was good. The food was fine, but we had barely taken our last bite and my husband immediately felt sick to his stomach. The server came by to ask if we needed to-go boxes, which took another 5 minutes or more for him to bring over. By then we were just ready to leave, and so we took our check to the front to pay, only to be told by the ever-friendly hostess that we are supposed to pay at our table. So instead of helping us herself or going to get our server, we are left standing at the front for several more minutes. Finally, my husband went to go find the manager and in the meantime our most-incompetent server reappeared only to tell us again that we are supposed to pay at our table, but oh well, we were already at the door, ready to leave for 20 minutes by that point.
To summarize my review, the food was mediocre, the atmosphere was hectic, and the service was awful. I will not be returning to...
Read moreJune 27th at 3pm my family and I arrived at the restaurant was not busy took an awfully long time for the host to seat us. Sat for at least ten minutes before I got up and spoke to the bartender about who is serving us. The young waitress was initially pleasant. It was was truly disappointing that the whole reason I chose Logan's was because of the multiple salmon dishes. However they did not have that anymore. I know that was not in their control. The waitress continued to loss intrest in waiting on us people around us were getting there food we were there for a whole hour. I spoke with the first male manager wearing a blue shirt pleasant to speak with initially. However during that time disappeared by this time it was reaching an hour I located our waitress and I asked what's up with our food SHE SATATED IMMEDIATELY I HAVEN'T CHEKED IN A RUDE TRULY UNPORFESSIONAL TONE AND CARRIED ON DOING WHAT SHE WAS DOING. I located another employee a very pleasant young man and I said were is your manager I need to see him now he did as I asked I assume and shortly there after 2 waitress came to our table stating they would be serving us because of shift change or whatever by that point all of us at my table said we needed the manager now and a Lady manager arrived stating she was watching the time and or video of our time here brought the food out the food was Ice cold not the fault of the second manager she was super pleasant trying to deescalate the situation unfortunately by that point my family and I said forget it and chose to leave
I've never experienced such terrible service anywhere in my life here or anywhere. I'm not saying that they were discriminating against us but something was extremely fishy about the whole scenario.
The second manager clearly tried to rectify the situation sadly it was way too late. I and my family will never step foot in another Logan's establishment ever again sadly there is no option for A ZERO REVIEW. TO ME THERE ONLY SAVING GRACE WAS THE FEMALE MANAGER SEEMINGLY TRYING...
Read moreMy family used to eat here once a week, because we love a good steak. I’m not sure what has happened to this restaurant, but in the past 3 months their service and food quality has gone down terribly. I will share of our last experience here. I have other stories but this one was the worst service of all and long enough to write. The last time we were there, we went about 3:00 pm to beat the crowds. We had a party of 3. First, there was 5 people standing at the host desk, one of the host, took us to a table that was right behind another family, and my preteen daughter could barely get in behind the person sitting at the table. Don’t know why we were sat there when there was many other tables available. Then just as we finally got into our seat, the host comes to tell us that he sat us at the wrong table and went to move us to another table. I asked the host, since we were being moved if we could have a booth instead of a table and chairs. He said ok and we walked back up to the host desk and then the host took us to a booth for 2 people. I looked at the host and said this is a booth for 2 and we have a party of 3. I then looked behind me and saw there was a bigger booth open. So I asked if we could just sit there and the host said yes, I guess so. Then the waitress came up and said that the reason he was putting us there was because they are on rotation. I said I understand that but what I don’t understand is how we can sit 3 people at a booth for 2 people. Finally, my husband had enough and said we will just leave and go somewhere else. So as we walked out I told the host that we decided to go somewhere else. We have not been back since and unless I hear of things changing for the better I will not be back. We will continue to make the drive to Decatur for some awesome Texas Roadhouse food and...
