Please note I just can’t 5 star a fast food establishment. So let’s note that I’m grading on an inverted bell curve. All grades are significantly lower automatically due to the class of food. However, if you like fast food, if you like eating from a paper bag or feeding your kiddos from a square box with a cute toy, then you’ll surely be singing “ba da ba ba ba, I’m lovin it” at this Golden Arches location. Their food is hot and fresh and the little fella working the window told me “to have a blessed night” what a sweet sentiment. I picked up food for others including a 4pc nugget happy meal with sliced apples , fries, and chocolate milk. A quarter pounder with cheese minus slivered onions, add Big MAC sauce, then ordered another just like it for $1 using a current promotion. I saw that they offer iced caramel macchiato and decided to try one for myself , only to learn the machine was in cleaning mode and I’d have to settle for the caramel frappe. Fine with me. This lets me know that the machine has a cleaning mode, and that the employees use it. That’s good news, in my opinion. The Frappe wasn’t bad at all. In fact, it was even a little good. The place was clean and well lit. The staff was nice. There’s ton of parking and two drive thru windows that merge into one lane for exiting. During normal business hours you would pay at the first window and receive food at the second. It was after hours so I payed and got my food at the same window. Everyone that received food said they enjoyed it. Upon returning home and sharing my experience with my spouse, I learned that he had eaten McDonald’s food a couple times back in the day, when he worked a job on the road, and it had given him. Nightmares each time he’d eaten it. Glad I didn’t come strolling through the door with a Happy Meal for him! I just might have to go back someday just to try that macchiato. It’s one of my favorites at local coffee shops , I need to know the comparison. I have this place as many stars as my heart would allow on this cold...
Read moreToday, my kids asked for McDonald's and chose this over a sit-down restaurant. The service was fast on taking my order, my kids were indecisive and an item that I had asked to change was still on the order when I pulled up to the first window to make a payment. For the cashier, this seemed as if it were a very difficult and demeaning task to omit the item. The manager was able to get the item taken off of the order, but onto the next window I was treated with unpleasant and rude disregard for customer service. When the manager handed the food over, he was not even paying attention to where he was placing the food while looking into the restaurant with food out of reach in hand out of the window. Once he handed the food and drinks over he quickly closed the window without handing straws for the drinks. I waited at the window hoping that an employee would notice me to ask for a straw. Waiting for 5 minutes, I decided to honk my horn in hopes of getting their attention but seen an employee inside roll their eyes at me and continue to walk off. Another employee walked to the window but to restock cups, I tried getting that employees attention but received the same treatment with the rolling of the eyes and obnoxious attitude. I said very loudly "wow! what great customer service". The window finally opened and I mentioned the missing straws, which was then delivered to me in a behavior that was as if I was an annoyance when I had just wanted fast and easy service. Absolute horrible management and staff, I understand that there is a shortage in the fast food industry due to people not willing to work but this place has those individuals on their payroll. Not wanting to work, just showing up expecting to receive a paycheck for...
Read moreStop by for a quick bite before my wife's skydiving appointment. Already had the order set using the mobile ordering app. It was a Saturday and it was crowded so I thought I made the best choice ever by using the mobile app. 15 minutes after entering the store to do the pickup at the counter I still had not received the order. I double-checked the app and they said my order was placed and gave me a number. I even checked my checking account through my banking app and the money had been deducted. They were extremely busy so I flagged down a supervisor who said that there was no mobile order pending. When I assured her there was and showed her my order she continue to debate me stating that apparently it had not been paid for. When I pulled up my checking account and showed that the $8 had been deducted from my account already she then said it was necessary on mobile orders to alert the cashier so that they could fulfill it. Waiting in line to tell them I have a mobile order? Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of using the app in the first place? Considering they had not even attempted to fill the order, I told them to cancel it and I would come back after our appointment for a refund. They gave me no issues whatsoever about the refund so no complaints about that.
Sorry I can't give you a review on their food because we never received any food. I wish I had the name of the supervisor who argued with me that the meal was not charged, considering I had proof it is been deducted from my checking account...
