Being new to this Restaurant, it was nice that we were told by someone that we look at the menu sign, walk around to counter, place our order & then sit somewhere while they cook our food. We went over to drink station with our cups to get our drinks & then sat in a both. I love that it's not the block ice!! I honestly expected to see lots of beautiful Decor from Greece which they do not. They did have a cute container on the table that contained rolled silverware along with Pepper shaker & Sea Salt. I shared a pic of it in my review. I ordered the Greek Lemon Chicken Soup, a Side of the Roasted Red Potatoes and a a plate of Veggies with the Taziki Dip. Soooo good!! Best healthy meal I have had in a long time. Of course I wasn't the only one eating the Dip w/ Veggies. I ordered it so everyone could snack on while waiting for their food. The potatoes were soooo delicious & cooked to perfection. As far the soup, it was so delicious with lots of shredded chicken & basmati rice! I only wished that there was more of it!! It would be awesome if they gave you the choice of either a Cup or a Bowl because I would've chosen the bowl. It only comes as a cup with 2 lil wedges of soft pita which left me wanting more soup. Maybe the Owners can change menu to give you the Choice of Cup or Bowl. What do you think, Taziki's??? My husband ordered the Lamb burger (which was a double patty) with chips and a side of Basmati Rice. To me one of the patties was quite pink. No way would i have continued eating it like that, but he did. He says that you never send food back for any reason. My Sister ordered the Chicken Kebobs with Roasted Red Potatoes and a Cesar Salad. My Sister said that the Lemon was really too overpowering for her and she ended up giving almost all of her food to my husband since he was still hungry. He was more than happy to try other foods. Lol She said everything was really good. She just can't eat a lot of food seasoned. She has a very sensitive stomach. To me it looked as though maybe the chicken chunks were probably marinated as they looked heavily seasoned. She said the chicken was extremely tender and very good. She just cant eat a lot of lemon. It hurts her stomach apparently. Maybe the Taziki's can offer Plain Chicken Kebobs and plain Roasted Red Potatoes option for those who can't eat all of the seasonings and lemon. My Sister & I did get a Dessert. She had the Dark Chocolate Cake & I had the Baklava, of course. The cake was very moist & not overly sweet like it looked. My Sister said it was very delicious & perfect!! As for the Baklava, I was very disappointed. It was overbaked because the bottom of mine was burnt. I grew up eating this very dessert because the Women on my Mother's side of the Family made it for the holidays. Theirs had many layers and never burnt like this one was. The menu does state that it comes from an Authentic Greek Bakery. Even so, I don't hold it against them because accidents happen in the Kitchen. Anyway, I thought what I ate was amazing. I may have to visit in future by...
Read moreUpdate April 2024 We continue dining regularly at Tazikis. The salads are absolutely the freshest in the area. Since opening they have ironed out issues with a new restaurant and apparently have retained a good crew as I notice mostly the same staff on each visit. They are always friendly and helpful.
I did want to provide a little feedback on the herbed pork and the lamb. Both look great and taste good with nice grill marks. These proteins are relatively thin and grilled. However, each time I've tried these they are consistently overcooked making them dry and chewy. I believe this simply, to be an oversight, likely in ensuring food safety.
We will continue to frequent Tazikis but will pass on the herbed pork or lamb. FYI The lamb used in the gyros is tender and juicy. I guess you could substitute? To Tazikis staff and crew: Congratulations on great service and the freshest salads around!
Oct 2023 We had noticed the Tazikis a few weeks ago and stopped in for lunch one day. It was just after 12 noon and there was a light crowd. Only five people in line in front of us in. The restaurant is new and I get the feeling that they're still getting on their feet. Ordering was a little slow but if you wanted they also have a separate window for carry out. It's been a while since Ive been to a Tazikis but the food is fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and they have outdoor dining as well. The bathroom is a shared bathroom in the hallway so you have to exit the restaurant. All indoors and very clean. We had the chicken gyro and the daily special. Service was a little off but everything else was fine and the potatoes were especially delicious.
We will definitely be going back.

Read moreThe food here at Taziki's is downright DELICIOUS. As a lifelong lover of Greek dishes, I was excited when I noticed we finally have a place to get gyros in Cullman. (Arby's doesn't count, you monsters!) But after seeing their menu, I skipped the gyro and went immediately for the build your own feast so I could consume as much delicious food as possible while keeping upright.
Mediterranean salad? Good. Basmati rice? Good. And to quote Joey Tribiani: Meat? GOOOOOOD!!! Seriously, the rice was so light and fluffy and perfectly cooked. Not over or under done. The salad has lots of different flavors that went together perfectly (bite of onion, sweet of the pecans, tart dressing, etc). I couldn't eat fast enough.
I also recommended their Spicy Harissa Hummus and the Taziki dip with their crispy fried pita.
Told my husband I hope he likes the food because we're never eating anywhere else. He laughed, but he...
