Do Not Sleep On This Place❌💤❌! I came here on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the Peruvian chicken, Lomo saltado, chicken parmagiano, and 'wings and things' as an appetizer. And to drink I ordered a mango lemonade and was told that they ran out which broke my heart. However, service here was amazing!! Especially our server Luis who was OUTSTANDING in his service and got some fresh lemonade made. 🍋 He was very informative with menu items, checked up with us often to make sure we were good, and had a lot of patience with us because we were hungover from partying Saturday night and we were quite slow in ordering 😅. Food was AMAZING 😋 🤤 Everything tasted really good and fresh and has got me craving when writing this review. I will definitely come back and try some other things from the menu. Just wish they had some kind of online ordering. Definitely recommend and help a small local business here in beautiful Culpeper ♥ Also shout out to the other server who gave my daughter two quarters so she can get a toy from the quarter machine!...

Our party of 4 were pretty much the only diners on a Friday early evening visit. Our server was super nice, friendly, and awesome.
Ordering went mostly okay except that several prices had changed and they were out of several items. They only had 3/4 of a rotisserie chicken left, etc..
The food took far long than expected and I was rather dismayed to see my order of 1/4 rotisserie chicken being popped in the microwave not once, but twice. As another reviewer noted, it is very odd not to see the chickens being roasted in a Peruvian pollo joint.
Said chicken was quite possibly the smallest and dryest chicken that I have been served. It was obviously leftover and not fresh. The yucca was dry and chewy. The fried plantains were tasty but quite oily.
My partner salad consisted of flat iceberg lettuce with old shredded carrots on top.
The green sauce was readily enjoyed by 3 of 4 in our party.
Overall, quite...
Read moreThought I would give this place a try, for another budgeted outing in town after a great experience at Frost Diner. I give it 2 stars only because the employees- wait staff/servers have been so absolutely super friendly. It's not their fault, and I wouldnt even blame the cooks as they have nothing to work with. I gave this place a try 3 separate times ordering different food that is worse than store bought. It felt like they had cheap cans and containers of food from the local Walmart that are straight from the can or container for snacks and sides, frozen dinners at home better than this place, buying a can of fruit or container of dip and bag of chipsand sitting in one of the local parks a better cheaper choice than going here- but if you want a cheap good meal, I'd recommend Frost Diner a short walk away. Ugly atmosphere as well, feels like a dive bar more than a restaurant and very disappointing as it has a lot of potential if it were fixed up and the owners invested...
