Truly amazed by the size of the food received based on the price they charge. First problem, despite getting 4 entrees, you wouldn't realize it as every item was placed into individual side containers. It's like they grabbed the side item to-go containers and had a bet that every entree item was going to fit with space left over, and they won! Which leads us to the second problem, food was incredibly small, a $17 entree that included 2 chicken breast actually had both breast fillets in the same individual side container. Hell, the chicken breast from a McDonald's chicken biscuit is larger than both of the breast they gave us. They must have took the regular chicken breast and cut it in half. The $20 rib & tenders entree had some wonderfully flavored rib bones, although nobody orders ribs to suck the bones. I mean there was no meat on much of them (I've never ever seen ribs that thin, practically paper thin). You know it's bad when you look at a rack of ribs and can literally can count the ribs prior to separating them, let alone run your plastic knife across the rack and can count the ribs from the contact sounds. Any smaller and I may have had a xylophone. Then they had 4 chicken tenders as a side and the dipping sauce container was taking up more space in the individual side container than the 4 tenders. It's like they took a regular chicken tender and divided it into fourths and breaded them. The $9 appetizer, Bangin Shrimp, had to be the smallest shrimp known to man as all 8 they gave fit in an side to-go tray, and they weren't even the popcorn shrimp. I figure they put everything in side containers because had they used regular entree to-go trays it would have had too much space left in the containers making it obvious that they were skimping on the servings. It's bad when a regular entree to-go tray has space left over, so best solution, use the individual side to-go tray. Hell, it's bad when a sweet potato is bigger than 2 chicken breast! That's down-right insane! The only side container that was full was the French fries! 4 entrees and 1 appetizers, $90. Total amount of food received, $20. They truly won the food cost to serving size and cost battle. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. I'm hoping other locations have better food quantities and sizes. I truly thought the menu was supposed to represent what I would actually get, rather than what I was hoping it may look like. Their menu shows how it should look at a real restaurant, but should have a disclaimer that let's you know the pictures do not represent any of what they...
Read moreI was very shocked with the incredibly poor service at this particular Ruby Tuesday. Our server stopped by the table shortly after we were seated and said she'd be right with us. 22 minutes later, she finally came to get our drink order and we went ahead and placed our food order. We waited and waited and waited. Finally she brought the non-alcoholic drinks and said the bar was backed up but she'd have the beer shortly. One from our group almost went to the bar to get the beer himself but we waited. She finally brought the beer and it was in a bottle!!! We waited for someone to pop the top off of a bottle. Fast forward another half an hour, 55 minutes after arriving, we finally got 2 of the 4 dishes. One had obviously been sitting for a while under the heat lamps and was sent back. The other meals came about about 5 minutes later and also appeared to have been sitting for some time. The waitress said they were short staffed and everyone was backed up. When she brought refills, they were wrong not once but twice!! They did remove the meal that was sent back but the entire experience was just poor. Using the excuse of being short staffed should not affect a guest experience. If you can't handle the guests in the restaurant which wasn't even full, don't seat new people!! If you are going to, at least warn up front that it will be over an hour before you can eat. I am in town visiting but will never return to this...
Read moreThis restaurant needs a deep clean and updating. Especially in the bathrooms, which were almost useless with broken toilet seats and clogged with waste. Not to mention the toilet paper all over the place. Be careful when using the full length mirror that someone doesn't open the door and knock you into it as it's placed behind the door. The smell of the restaurant in general makes you not want to eat there. There were no crayons for the kids' coloring sheets. We were a party of 13 and some dishes came out with the wrong sides while others never came at all. We waited too long for refills on a Wednesday night. The salad bar was missing some options like mandarin oranges and parmesean crisps that we all usually enjoy. Picking through smushed grapes to find good ones was annoying. (Maybe have a spoon instead of tongs for those?) Good luck getting a plate that isn't hot for your cold salad. Also, it should be illegal to put carpet in a restaurant. Ew. (Although, I do understand that carpet isn't slippery when wet. Therefore, less legal matters. But still. Ew. It's like cleaving carpet in a kitchen or bathroom.) The cheddar biscuits used to keep us coming back but since they are gone, we never go here unless invited or tagging along with a group. I hate to leave bad reviews but this restaurant could be great, as it offers some dishes and a salad bar that others don't. I hope they make the necessary changes and...
