I love Aldis because its cheap and the food is decent quality. Unfortunately, the Culepeper Aldis has been increasingly expensive and their prices are sometimes double that of Walmart! Its even worse because the biggest price increases are on staples such as eggs and milk. Aldis is also under renovation which makes shopping a bit difficult but it's still managable.

Visiting from out of town and Aldi is always my go to grocery market. I stopped here to get groceries for a camping trip and I was able to find everything I needed. The wine selection was fabulous, as my local Aldi in Pennsylvania don't sell wine so I was very happy shopper. Typical Aldi no complaints.

Overall good but under remodel on 2/17/18. Carts are in the middle of the parkinglot.

This location has undergone a complete remodel in the last month, assumedly in preparation for the opening of Lidl, and it looks great.

Aldi is an interesting little grocery store based in Germany. They sell almost exclusively off-brand products, which means low prices. Quite a few unique food products can be found here, which is kind of cool. Their produce is often very cheap. They also have an isle of random non-food items.

Be aware that you need a quarter to use one of their massive shopping carts, which you get back when you return the cart to the corral. They charge 6¢ for paper bags and 10¢ for plastic, but feel free to use one of the many empty boxes you'll find around the store.

They are very lightly staffed, so you'll generally only see on or two people working in the store, along with on or two cashiers. It isn't usually busy, so the lines...

I love all Aldi's. Are used to be an Aldi location by my previous house in New York and when I move to Virginia I was missing it. I just so happen to be visiting the area of Culpeper today so I knew I had to go food shopping while I was there. Out of all of the different ALDI locations that I have shopped at, this one had the weirdest setup. I did appreciate the wider rows, however it was very odd just how everything was set up. Everything did look fresh and I found the old Specialties that I was looking for. The only thing that I did not find that I was looking for was cream of chicken soup. Something so simple and they did not have any at the moment. Overall, I know that if I'm in Culpeper again I will be visiting just because I definitely miss the supermarket. The workers there...

Aldi has improved in selection quite a bit over the past few years. When I first tried Aldi several years ago, they didn't have enough products I would use at a better price to justify adding them to my shopping trips. Now they are becoming my main store. One thing that really irks me is the fact that it's difficult for me to watch the prices as they're rung up. And I DO watch because there are mistakes. One mistake took the manager almost 30 minutes to rectify, and every time I find a pricing error on my receipt, it means an extra 10 to 15 minutes added on to my trip to get it rectified. Not cool. Also, when are you going to have chip capability for credit and debit cards? That's kind of industry...
