I have been patronizing this Dairy Queen for the past 20 years. Even prior to them moving to this new location. Every season since the Cotton Candy option was added to the menu, my granddaughter orders a large vanilla cone with cotton candy sprinkles. Normally I always use the drive-thru and have had superb customer service. This past Tuesday, I went inside and ordered a large vanilla cone with Cotton Candy Sprinkles, a large milkshake, and two Mini Cotton Candy Blizzards. When we received our order, there were regular sprinkles on the cone. I mentioned it to the cashier which happened to be very polite and courteous, she asked the young lady that had made the order to re make it with the Cotton Candy Sprinkles but the young lady looked over her shoulder at me with a look of disgust and in her exact words said âwe donât do thatâ. I then ask the cashier to get the manager on duty which was Aaron. Aaron looked over at me, and continued to assist in waiting on customers. After a while, Aaron condescendingly asked me if there was a problem, I told him that I had ordered a cone with cotton candy sprinkles and would like my order. He informed me that my request wasnât on the menu, and that he couldnât sell anything that wasnât on the menu. I explained to him that I order this every week and sometimes twice a week and have never had a problem. Aaron then stated that he had been there five years and that they have never sold Cotton Candy Sprinkles on a cone and in his next breath he said that thereâs a $.69 up charge for the cotton candy sprinkles. I told him that an up charge wasnât the problem but now Iâm confused, is the Cotton Candy sprinkle cone sold since itâs not on the menu or isnât it or is there an up charge? As our conversation concluded. I asked him for the rest of our order that had been sitting on the counter, waiting and melting. Aaron handed me the rest of my order and he did not bother to wipe off the ice cream that had melted around the cups. As he walked away, I said I guess Iâll be visiting the Dairy Queen on Tenth in Post Road from now on and Aaronâs comment...
Read moreWas just there usually they are real nice but not today. The were locked at 8 even tho they are suppose close fine in at 10. I had a online order and when it said it was ready I tried to renter the store. But the employee was reallly rude. It was a lady with little blonde highlights plus size. I tried to tell her from the outside that I had a online order and it says itâs ready but rather then listening she kept making gestures of driving saying go to drive thru so I tried to call them so I could speak to someone but they didnât pick up so I showed them the phone thru the window trying to tell them if they could pick it up. Maybe because she saw I was Indian idk what was the reason behind not picking up the phone and not opning the door to talk to me. But they made a weird face and came back after 10 mins with a sticky note saying only drive thru. So I had a leave my order and go to the different restaurant and pay again. They can check the cameras I was there around 8 and showed them my phone and they still didnât pick up. I get stuff form DQ ALL THE TIME. but I really donât wanna see that lady face again!!! As you see in the pictures one employees is completely ignoring acting like they are busy moping and the line they had but couldnât open the door and hand me my order when they...
Read moreNot sure if this is just the most recently built location on this side of town or if it's just owned by somebody who cares about it but this is by far the best location on the entire eastern half of the city. Service is always fast even when busy, food is always fresh and accurate, they are the only store on this side of town that actually accepts mobile orders, and they are pretty much the only location on this side of town that doesn't look like it has been abandoned for 10 years. I pass by at least three separate locations to come here and there's a reason the rating is so high.
One note though, the pre-recorded greeting at the voice box is a little creepy and seems kind of unnecessary. I get that it's annoying to have to repeat the same greeting a million times a day but it just seems so weird. But that's literally my worst complaint about this location so unless you fear a robot uprising I wouldn't let it bother...
