We love the cakes and have bought from several locations. A little high but worth it. Now we have this store at 10935 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, which is close by so I decided to try it. On a Thursday late night, I went online to send my dentist's crew a surprise for their lunch, about 1 mile away. So I put the 8" cake in my cart at tax, $31.50. At checkout I was VERY alarmed to see there is a $6.99 delivery fee, and a SERVICE FEE of $1.08 just to pay for their internet? Isn't that part of business and the reason I came to them after hours? I do not mind paying a delivery fee if it is going to the delivery person. But it does NOT. I later learned they use Uber. For good reason I never use Uber for food and never will. Who knows what a non-employee will do? And give a tip for service we dont KNOW how good it was? There is a pre-filled tip box near the bottom to leave the delivery person a tip. After some effort I was finally able to uncheck that amount. Isnt $6.99 fee enough and who knows what service happened in advance? I bring my business to them, fill out the order, add my credit card AND check myself out. Wow, good business, we do all the work and get fee's too. Here is the run down. Cake + tax $31.50. Delivery fee $6.99. Service fee $1.08. Totalled up, just the fee's alone you pay 26% extra if you want to send a cake in a box. IF you allow the lowest pre-filled tip of $4.73, it becomes a total of 39% extra. Can you believe that? Buy a cake with tax $31.50, then pay $12.37 or 39% extra just because they tape a already printed address label on the box and hand off to a stranger? The cakes are awesome, but I will NOT be going back to them again. $43.87 for a 8" cake in a box. Again, it would be a different story IF the delivery fee went to drivers and whatever that BS Service Fee is was removed. Do they want to sell cakes or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spotted the store while at a light and i said to my bf there goes that bunt place I've been hearing about them all over TikTok. Next thing i knew he was pulling into the parking lot. We walked in and it is such a cute like bakery. The cakes were beautifully displayed along with with menu and prices. We got 3 mini bunts that are 5.50$ A piece. I noticed they are displayed for a higher price on line. We got the Red velvet, Key lime, and carrot cake. The key lime was good and had a nice tartness to it. I loved the carrot cake i wish it had more icing on it because the icing is amazing. All in all i give my experience 2 šš¾ up. I didn't taste the red velvet because I don't like it but my bf loved it. Im a big fan of the mini bunts and I can't wait to ho back and try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas excited to see it in area. Walked in and the manger was super rude. I had my pup with me (a toy poodle) in my arms. He weighs 3 pounds. He let me stand there for about 2 mins before he rudely said ā thereās no dogs allowedā I was ok with it. Took the pup to the car, went back in got my cake. I suggested maybe he should put a sign up stating thereās no pets allowed so that me or whoever else in the future would be aware. Again with a nasty attitude he didnāt agree, stated āIām not going to allow it.ā Which is totally fine but if thereās no sign stating that how would anyone know, So that they donāt have to be approached with rude customer service. I will NOT attend this location again, Totally...
