If you were into any type of an indoor hobby, whether it be scrapbooking, crocheting, picture, framing, or collecting anything of any kind. This is a place to go to get your organizing and storage and even some production materials, artificial flowers at the stamp coin devices of all varieties gotta check out stuff, if you'd like to accumulate stuff or or with different things, this is the short door to go to the isles are clear. The store is jampacked for exciting related items and generally helpful knowing the products are helping them in a relatively safe town with plenty of parking right next to the entrance and I would say safety is on probably average or maybe just under average because of the Eastside location of the store but I would not hesitate to go there and daylight hours and nighttime hours, you're probably gonna be safe, but I would not travel alone to Walmart supercenter hobby lobby gets a little bit dark and a little bit isolated after sun goes down relatively low or I would not leave your valuables in your car and I would certainly not leave your car unlocked, but that is good advice for any place in Indianapolis right now times are certainly changing and not for the better when it comes to safety and security and this, please hear our calls. This is the only city in the country in which you can call 911 and be put on hold. You will receive a recording that tells you to lay down the phone and go to safety and someone will be with you when they can so if this is not a huge symptom of an understaffed underfunded public safety policy for a major city, I don't know what else to say. Be prepared to manage crisis emergencies on your own because you can't count on the city infrastructure Indianapolis come here quickly or even getting the call for help quickly I am assuming you're out of the dispatchers or the system in which college overload itself Someone will answer your call. They say baloney...
Read moreI'm so glad I no longer live close to Hobby Lobby or I'd alway be broke. I'm always looking for items to decorate my home inside and out and I forget about Hobby Lobby. Today I just happened to be close and was going to "browse" but when most of the store is either 40% or 50% off you shop. The store was very clean, the shelves were stocked, plenty of staff members on the floor if you needed help finding something. I purchased some Easter items, door decor, garden flags and some ribbon. I spent under $30 but have some great items. I'll probably be back later this week to pick up some items for decorating my porch for the summer. They also have a large selection of crafting items, jewelry making items, flowers for flowe arrangements and I also saw some items that reminded me of Johanna Gains from Fixer Upper on HGTV. I had a time restriction today but my next visit I'll be able to paruse the entire store and who knows what...
Read moreYesterday made a trip to local location to pick up a few ready made open frames, in a very basic, 12 by 16” size.
Sure enough, several available, but quickly became obvious all 4 of the frames on display had been significantly damaged, or used, then returned, and put back for sale as regular stock. 2 of the frames had been very poorly repaired, with visible cracks, dents and chips re-painted, but defects clearly visible, including rough, very poor paint job. The other two frames had multiple holes where they had been used, some mounting hardware still installed, with corner dents and chips not even fixed.
Hobby Lobby has a clearance frame section, and I’m fine with buying things there, knowing what you see, is what you get. But putting damaged and worn returns back on the regular full-price display is very...
