(Newer Review): Since my last review, I was wondering if anyone at Domino's really cared about this delivery charge that is only a money grab. Apparently not. I can not understand what this 'delivery charge' is for since Domino's was a delivery place in the first place. The driver doesn't get it. I think the public deserves the right to know who exactly is this $3.99 delivery charge is being paid to. I worked for Domino's as a driver for many years when I was younger. We did not have a delivery charge. In fact, for a while I would get 10 cents per each delivery mile I drove. We did not get much of an hourly wage, so those 10 cents helped us pay for gas and car maintenance. I know the 10 cents per mile is now long gone for the current driver's. But they are not getting that $3.99 delivery charge. And that charge probably hurts the drivers from getting better tips too. So while I can not fathom who is actually getting this other than the store owner or the corporation, as much as I'd like to order pizza tonight, I will refrain from ordering again until I am told by Domino's who gets that $3.99 charge because as a former employee, there simply is no need for Domino's to be charging for that other than its them fleecing us, the consumers.
(Old review)This store has gotten better. And since they've gotten better, I decided to try to see how much value we get under their rewards program. Its a SCAM. You save a total of $.00. Why? Cause while you may get a 'free' pizza, you STILL have to place an order OVER $18.00 then ypu still have the usual taxes and that scam delivery fee tacked on at the end. So what I usually order runs around $28 (before tip). With the rewards program, I still paid $28. I didnt want 2 pizzas but was offered no choice. And there's a strict time limit to redeem your free pizza. So sadly this may be the last time I order for a long while cause its just not worth it to me. Domino's, what happened to ya'll? You've gotten so greedy and I have stopped purchasing from companies solely for that purpose. (And to the staff and drivers at the store, you guys are fine. My comment is directed towards your...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received from the Domino's Pizza location in Cumberland, Maryland (Queen City). I have been a loyal customer for several years, spending thousands of dollars and always making sure to tip generously and make it a point to always show my appreciation.
On a recent occasion, we received a pizza that was not the one we had ordered. When I called to inquire about this, I was shocked to be asked to take a picture of the pizza and text it to the manager's personal cell phone. As a former restaurant manager myself, I found this request to be unprofessional and insulting, as it implied that I was lying about the situation. At no point did the manager apologize for this assumption or express any remorse for the inconvenience caused.
Furthermore, when I went to pick up the corrected order, I discovered that they had forgotten to include the ranch dressing that I had paid for. While this may seem like a small issue, it added to my growing frustration with the lack of attention to detail and customer service from this location.
I have always gone out of my way to be kind and understanding with the staff, leaving notes of encouragement and ensuring that they know I am happy with my order. However, it seems that this positivity is not being reciprocated by the management team. I do not understand how a business can hope to retain customers when its team members are following the example of someone who treats their loyal customers with such disregard.
I would appreciate it if you could address this situation with the manager in question and ensure that they are trained in proper customer service protocols. I have always enjoyed Domino's Pizza in the past, but my recent experience has left me questioning whether I will continue to support this location in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I hope to see improvements in the service provided by this location...
Read moreI used to work here and of course I was told that I was going to be fired because of a disability and yes I have text messages and screenshots to show it. Ever since I left I don't know what has happened but the food has gone downhill big time. About two times ago when I ordered I received the wrong Pizza completely. And multiple occasions I barely received any mushrooms on my pizza literally about one or two per slice and they forgot my feta cheese many times. I tried giving them another chance and of course tonight they did the exact same thing. Multiple times too when I've ordered the pasta Alfredo it's been dry and there's barely been any sauce or cheese in it.
Also I really do hope that they stop vaping around the food because when I was a worker here I actually told Danny the manager about it and he pretty much just threatened to fire me over not being able to do a closing shift my first week due to being disabled and not acknowledge the actual problem.
They are seriously going to respond to me and say Oh to reach out to the owner I've tried multiple times to reach out to the owner to make an appointment to talk to them about some serious health violations and stuff that we're going on at this location I just tried to give them another chance tonight I found an onion that I'm allergic to all my pizza buried under the cheese This is the fifth and final time they have done this now I will be filing an 88 violation and I will also be contacting Domino's customer support if you have any allergies or if you have any mast cell activation syndrome like I do do not eat here! I was the best worker they had cuz I actually paid attention to what I was doing and now they have fallen apart! I will also be contacting the Maryland...
