X Bar Cupertino — Restaurant in Cupertino

I was booked to play a show here and drove an hour and a half to do so. I did not get to play as apparently the place was double booked with another group and we were told to pack up and leave. I wasted an entire Saturday evening because the owner or manager couldn’t get this figured out with the booker, someone named Tim, who apparently played dumb and acted like 3 bands would just show up at a venue and play without permission, even though the sound guys were there and got us setup. Afterwards, I discovered that at least 2 other bands had experienced the same thing happen to them on different occasions, so this was clearly not an isolated incident. I have been going to the open mic here since it started. The service that I got tonight was horrible the bartender is not a people friendly person. Like who does not know how to make a tequila sunrise!!! I have never had a bartender ask me how to make one. Now when Brenda was working it was smiles and laughter. She makes you feel like family and not just a dollar sign..If Brenda does not come back then sad to say a lot of people will stop coming!! PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK...

Went to see a show tonight at the X-Bar. Owner stormed in 1 song into the band’s set, turned off their sound & sent them packing. Apparently he had double booked the venue & kicked off the band playing (who’d driven from LA to perform) in favor of the band who showed up late.
