Called to ordered sympathy flowers for a coworker. Specified I would need white and yellow chrysanthemums as this is culturally appropriate for the recipient. Ali confirmed the delivery date and confirmed white and yellow chrysanthemums would be delivered. When the flowers were delivered, I was notified by the recipient that she received pink and red flowers (EXTREMELY culturally inappropriate!) I called the flower shop to ask what happened and he said he would call me back. A long time passed so I texted to ask what the status was, but no response. I texted again and received no response. Finally I called and Ali told me I should have specified in writing what I would need. (I spoke with him directly over the phone regarding what I wanted - he took my order himself so I'm not sure why it would be my fault that he did not communicate my order to his staff correctly.) I explained how culturally insulting/inappropriate this was and asked how he can remedy the situation, and he told me he would give me a 25% refund. I explained since it was him and his staff's mistake, I should receive the full refund as 1. it was not my mistake and 2. he insulted someone's culture. He told me he "knew from the moment he answered my call to place the order that this would be a problem." I was extremely kind on the phone when I placed the order so I have no idea why he chose to insult me like that for literally no reason at all. The entire time we were on the phone he was rude, unpleasant and refused to take responsibility for his shop's mistake. Read moreI wish I can give this store a zero or half star. I ordered an Orchid to cheer my wife at 11 AM PDT. Everything is paid for and received an email staying the Orchid will be deliver today. At 420 PM, can home an wife did not receive the order. Call and spoke to a gentleman stated that for Residential, delivery will be by 6 pm. 6, 7 almost 8 pm no call, email from the driver or the store regarding to no or late delivery. I was so unhappy that I decided to head out for dinner instead of waiting and wait. I posted a note outside my door asking the driver to take the order back and I'll dispute the charge with my credit card. What kind of floral service where they can't even honor the delivery. If I knew that they can't delivery within 4 hours that I paid for, there is no point for me to buy it from them. I could just go to local floral store or warehouse store to get it where it'll be half price. Please be aware of the delivery time. If you are in a hurry or want to surprise your love one with flower, be prepare to have a late deliver since residential is the lowest priority. It's spoil all the fun about "SURPRISE!!" package to your love one when you have to sit and wait for the order to arrive and guess what, you now have to tell your love one what you are waiting for. The day it was to be delivered he called around 1 to make sure it would be there before I left for the day. He was reassured it would be delivered by 5pm. At 3:30pm he received an email stating the arrangement was barely being made. Concerned he called again to confirm it would still be delivered by 5pm again he was assured it would be. Not having heard from me he decided to call 10 min to five, while he was still on the phone they told him don't worry it will be there by 5, the clock struck 5 while he was still on the phone and he asked if they could confirm if it got there because it is 5 o' clock now. Needless to say I went home without a surprise at work. He received a email at 7:30pm stating the arrangement had been delivered. I work at a nursing home so the front doors are open late, they dropped it off in the front lobby. When my husband called edible arrangements to complain he was told Rose Cart told them it had been delivered at 3pm. Never received my arrangement and I was at work til after 5pm. Incredible the lack of integrity this company has. I will never order anything from them and when ordering on line or over the phone through FTD, Edible Arrangements or any other company I will make sure they do not use this company for any future...
