I have gone to every little local restaurant in this area, and I must say that I have never been to a place that gives those portion sizes. The food is great. There is something lacking though. The management is absolutely horrendous. I have never experienced such a unprofessional manager like the one that runs that place. They treat their staff like absolute GARBAGE! I have heard a few of the rumors that have been spread by the manager, and I just can’t comprehend how someone who is supposed to be the authority figure can say these things. I am assuming this is why they are so short staffed. I would not ever think about working for a boss that has no respect for their employees. From what I understand, the customers are talked about as well. In fact, I noticed a few of the waitresses liked to stay in the back instead of wait on their customers up front. If they like you, then they tend to be nicer. The place is DIRTY! Look up the last health reports. It’s quite sad. Rumors of drug usage. Cleanliness is not a priority there. Look at the dumpster area 😳. Looks like someone is living back there. It also looks like something caught on fire. Waitresses finger nails are dirty. Hair is not secure, long hairs constantly in food. Ceiling looks like it might cave in. Definite leak going on in corner booth. When it drips down, it smells like urine. Booths are ripped apart and also smell like urine. I thought I heard something running along the rafters as well. I am afraid to think of what that might have been. Parking lot is full of pot holes, that are so bad they could cause damage to your vehicle. If you look through the back door as you pass by, you can see employees standing inside the building smoking cigarettes right next to what I am assuming is the kitchen. Also, the back entrance area looks FILTHY. The small glimpse of the kitchen that I seen, was very dirty and unorganized. Old layered grease on everything. In fact everything seemed to have a layer of dirt on it. Wonder what their storage refrigerators look like. Is the food they are using expired? Salad I had tasted like dirt. Are they washing their produce before they serve it? Are they following health codes? Also, menu prices are not always accurate! The doordash prices are outrageous, but at-least those people who order to go don’t have to see what the inside of that place looks like. Wait times for doordash drivers also seem very lengthy. I gave this place a couple of attempts. Every time I went there, my experience was worse and worse. I heard some of the better waitresses left there... it’s a shame in times like these hardworking people have to walk away because of the craziness that goes on there. Spend your money somewhere that is more deserving. Will definitely not be going back until a change in...
Read moreI try to be as fair as I can be when submitting a review. That will hold true here. I won't EVER return or any of my family.
My family (4 of us) arrived at Eddy's at 2:45 for a Father's Day lunch. They were far from packed. I had to use the restroom. I am on crutches. As I went across the dining room, I instantly noticed how greasy and slippery the floor was. Very uneasy and unsafe feeling.
Upon returning to the table, I noticed my family had been seated, but no menus at the table, no silverware, and no drink order had been taken.
And yet I counted 4 wait staff employees who couldn't have cared less if we were there or not. The condition of the dining room was shameful. I counted at least 6 tables that needed to be cleared. The temperature in the dining room was far from comfortable (hot and muggy). I thought "What is this place like if it's busy?".
The only reason I did not just walk back out immediately was my daughters wanted to treat me. The only way we ever received menus or silverware is we saw where they were, and had to get them ourselves.
FINALLY, 25 minutes after arriving our orders were taken. When our food did arrive ANOTHER 20 minutes later, it took our waitress 4 tries to get most - not all - of our order and take out boxes back to the table......
But the event that topped it all was we witnessed another waitress (a younger girl) up by the cash register using her fingers to wipe her nose - no kleenex, just fingers to nose skin.
I cannot tell you how angry we all were. I understand the restaurant business is extremely competitive, and has been damaged by COVID. But these people weren't even trying. If you don't want to be in the restaurant business, THEN DON'T BE IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS.
I won't be shocked in the least to hear that this establishment has closed one day. From what I saw today, they didn't earn the right to stay open....
Read moreThis one is hard for me...I wanted to like it so much, but too many things got in the way of complete foodie enjoyment. While the menu was diverse (and, perhaps, too large, making me doubt how much or little of it was actually just freezer-to-fryer), the staff was nice and the food we had didn't taste bad, the place is outdated and filthy and I had a really hard time getting past that. Outdated wouldn't be an issue if it was kept up, but I'm talking about grime in the seat cracks and on the walls, multiple flies everywhere, etc. that really had me squirming. Also, having not one but four cameras on the cash register (fake or real, who knows) really set up a red flag for me. The whole place needs a fresh coat of paint and servers who know how to clean and sanitize properly. Otherwise, the food we had wasn't bad. The soup was flavorful and the portions were huge. The veggies looked fresh and I would completely revisit and try their super fun looking breakfasts if I could get past the physical state of...
